    This is just terrible -- I can't believe it. It's absolutely sickening that somebody would do this.

     

    I get so uneasy when I'm at the gas station or grocery store and I see people walking around with a gun on their hip --- after all of these terror attacks / mass violence happening in the last few years, it's hard not to be frightened.

     

    Agreed. This is awful. I had two trips to Vegas planned over the next 6 months, including Lana. Not sure if I feel comfortable going now, even just for the memory of these poor people.

     

    But as someone who lives with one of those people with a sidearm, don't be afraid of them... they are the ones who would most likely take down the person shooting in one of these situations and protect you. Many are ex military, police, or private citizens who want to keep themselves and their loved ones safe. I also have my gun license and own several guns myself. It is smart to learn to protect yourself, and I encourage everyone here to find something to help keep you and others safe, whether it is learning how to safely use and take care of a gun, learning martial arts, CPR training, or even just participating in those mudhero type fun-runs... Take classes and always keep learning. You never know when you will need a lifesaving skill.

     

    I know it's hard, I am struggling with this too but don't let fear consume you...

    I read the rest of your comments and I want to edit my message to clarify that I am from up North and our gun laws are a bit more strict up here, so I can't say I know anything about what is going on down in America in terms of gun control... However I am all for stricter gun laws and vetting for mental health prior to licensing as that is something that would certainly help prevent incidents like this.

    Nah. I could probably just buy another pair and sell the GA ones easily but I think I'll just deal. It'll be fun. :)

    I'm thinking the same... it will likely be my last hurrah for a concert down in GA! If you're going to Vegas, let's meet up and create a human wall to get up to the front haha

    Holy crap, I got GA for Vegas -- Thanks to Summer Wine for that code :) 

     

    So, I didn't expect or really want GA (I mean I do want it but I'm too old and broken to be down there tbh) but I selected best available instead of the lower bowl. Shit. My body is not ready for this...

     

    Has anyone been in GA and just hung out around the back? Is it still worth it? Or should I be taking tramadol and fighting my way through the crowd?

    Don't you kiddies comprehend what Elizabeth / Lana has told you

     

    One would think, her using the word KIDDIES would give a hint

     

    One would think her saying this is for the KIDDIES would not have been misunderstood by those that have no reading or listening comprehension

     

    Lana from Born to Die does not exist anymore

     

    Now, Elizabeth / Lana is earthmother,  and is referring to the KIDDIES in that she is now older, wiser, and like any good mother,will never do anything but SMILE and reassure her kids that although

    times are tougher than they were, we will get through it, and the mother is cuddling the kiddies to reassure them of that (as is plainly obvious in the Love video).

     

    Elizabeth is asking the kiddies to LISTEN and COMPREHEND the lyrics. That s the meaning of this one is for the kiddies. It has nothing to do with the past, it is about the future.

    perhaps Lana is like me and has anxiety issues.

    like someone messages me. I get anxiety about how to reply. I leave the message to deal with it later. And low and behold 2 months pass.

    And the thought of having to message back after such an amount of time is just overwhelming. So you just leave it at that.

     

    you know in relation to the whole Woodkid thing.

    This thread goes into more detail than I ever could about possible connections between the Source Family and Ultraviolence.     Thank you for mentioning my post! I am absolutely floored that a direct reference to the Source, Father Yod and Isis Aquarian has been made in a Lana video -- be it through Jonathan Wilson or Lana herself, that was a very special treat to see at the end of Love! :)

    100 Miles an hour is... scary fast. Autobahn fast.

     

    I can't say I've ever gotten up to that but I've definitely got pulled over for 145 km/hr sooo I think that's like 85 M/hr ish?

     

    Oh and only you guys will appreciate this but I totally Born-to-Die'd my car last month. Flipped right the fuck over going down a back road...  I was okay, but my poor Carmen (my little red car) was written off  :icant:

     

    I will never drive fast again. Granny driving from here on out!

    ... i mean she kinda just looks like she had a late night the night before, then immediately flew from new york to LA

    I just see someone who suffers from anxiety going into a situation where they feel trapped but know they have to get it over with. She probably was just not feeling it and couldn't muster enough energy to put up a façade this time. All her airport arrival or departure videos follow a pattern where she's either showing confidence and has steely answers or a forced smile for everything (her good days) and the other videos are like this, deer-in-the-headlights, lip quivering and all (bad days). She is a sensitive soul and is controlled by her anxiety (and depression) and all the signs are easily identifiable in  these videos.

    she voted democratic in the last election according to something that somebody found that has personal and private info so I can't share it. But it was posted like three years ago and some of the lanaboards members saw it so I'm sure someone can back me up.
