Is it just me or does it sound like a song Azealia might have helped pen?

God, I hope so. That was my favourite book in high school. I fucking *aced* that semester in English. And now one of my favourite directors is lending his style to it... if Lana did a song for it I would be in HEAVEN!

I just put a few songs into a playlist that have a hip hop beat and sound like a Mix Tape. Pretty much any song Lana "raps" on. If anyone can suggest a few other songs I might have missed, I'll love you 4evah!! LOL I found that earlier too when I saw the addition to the video. Those people are going to be very confused at all the traffic they're getting. As a side note though, very interesting that they seem to make crappy retro B-Movies.

I agree. It reminds me of a lot of Jewel's first songs when she came on to the scene back in '94. A lot of it sounded rough around the edges and dealt with a lot of similar heavy subject matter before she got into the "Adult contemporary" genre and became "soft pop". Even her voice sounds similar.

Also, I am publicly backing HDB in that Lucky Ones is one of the best tracks as it's pretty much the only happy song on the album. Just realized how perfect this song is. I have a thing for her being overly descriptive (which she does almost always anyway lol) but this and Marilyn just kill me at how well she can paint a pretty picture for her audience.
