I was super hyped for that project yet I have to admit that I'm a bit disappointed about the final product. I don't get why she mixed Jealousy - THE build-up song - in the most hectic and chaotoc way while keeping the entirety of Stimulation (plus this awkward album intro). I always thought Incapable needed some grooming but the album version is a bit too brief & aprubt. And I hate what she did to Murphy's Law - it feels so chepened down and lost a lot of it's Disco-Diva-Oomph. She should have stuck with the shorter edit that was part of the single release. The previously unheard songs are all fillers except Shellfish Madmoiselle. Game Changer is probably the lamest one. I feel like she overthought this albumn tried too much to be creative with the new mixes and ended up with mediocre stem-edid-like remixes. Would have preferred it if she would have stayed with the more straightforwatd 80s-Disco-vibe the single versiond hinted at.

"This guy" actually does quite good music unlike Shrieknd, Ariona and Borns. And it's nice that it's actually a DUET like TNC or Riverside, and not just some backing vox like on Cat Power and Jonathan Wilson's song or some terrible mess like BPBP -
Roisin Murphy's "Roisin Machine" I'm a big Moloko-fan and since last year I really got into her solo-stuff. The single run has been really strong and I love how this will be a groovy album full of 80s-vibes. Also, I'm super excited about Woodkids upcoming album. I loved The Golden Age! All the projects he did after it were really nice - but it's good to know he'll release something that is not a soundtrack again. The visuals and the new sonic direction are interesting. He's one of those artists where you know you won't be disappointed, no matter what he does

This 15 minites stuff is bs. You can infect someone/get infected within 2 seconds. The virus won't wait for 15 minutes to reach you. Stop trying to make excuses for her

I don't think that wearing a cool mask is disrespectful as long as it's good looking AND fulfills its purpose. I don't see any reason why one would not wear a fancy mask that matches an outfit when you have to wear it all the time. The visual effect just should not impact the ACTUAL effect of the mask - to protect the people around you.

Uhm ... nah. If you think this is normal, maybe you're just part of the problem. This is not about moral pretentiousness. This is about calling out obviously dangerous behaviour.

Now that she redeemed herself as an artist with NFR after the mess that was LFL, she's really going out of her way to prove that her personality is trash. -
Obviously she's not an intelligent adult. And criticzing irresponsible actions is not nitpicking. But since you resort to the "cry about it" argument - have fun in kindergarten tomorrow. Not gonna waste anymore time on this discussion.
-
People defending it is a joke. A bad one. Overthink your priorities.
-
Yeah, being irresponsible is so ghetto and cool and because other people out there do it, you should totally join! Bye. Hope I never live in a city with people like you who think safety is a joke.
-
If you are thinking this is a cool thing, then you are like forever late to basic common sense. "Let her drive how she wants" - well, lol no. There are laws and rules for reasons. There is something called responsibility. Maybe at one point in your life, you may understand this. Have fun being edgy defending people endangering other peoples lifes until then.
-
Noone should do it. One wrong does not justify another one.
-
It's not ok when you endanger others doing it. Lol seriously there is no discussion here. She's acting irresponisbly.
-
The way she drives and acts in her stories proves she's driving irresponsibly on purpose. Noone above the age of 16 who has more brain than a bread thinks that's cool.
-
A 35y old woman who obviously does not know how to drive and constantly endangers herself and others in order to post some cringy baddie-insta-stories. You should reevaluate your perception of empowerement.
-
The way she drives ... the way she's STILL filming herself while doing it .... the way bootlickerstans try to defend it ... cringe-overkill I love how whenever she posts something really stupid, it's always a honeypot that tells you who on this forum still has the mindset of an edgy 15 year old.

It was an ok interview until she got a bit too self absorbed, focussing on how great she is and how she always knows everything (LOL). Jack encouraging her by being a brown-noser did not help. The pictures are great though amd it's nice to have some context on the album. I hope that it's ACTUALLY coming this month and that Dealer will only be added as a digital track. Not sure if I like that she memtions her cringy instagram-girlfriends in her music and that country seems to be a part of CoCCs soundscape.

While I like the album, I have to say that - for me - it does not live up to the expectations the singles raised. I feel like she was focussed a bit too much on being artistic, innovative and different and that made some songs become stale, even though the composition and production is beautiful. Habibi has this heartbreakingly beautiful vibe but the stiff vocals and the overuse of autotune does not really improve it. Wallflower has this extremely intriguing percussion, yet she insists on making the song a semi-spoken chant. Gole Bi Goldoon is nice, yet totally unspectacular. And Human Nature is still the most overrated and boring artsy-fartsy-autotune songs within her discography. None of these songs have anything on the immense power of Darkest Hour, Lamp Lady, Joanna or Oh My God. Makes me wonder even more why she decided to exclude Martyr, a vivid and passionate track that went along with the other singles so well. The only other songs on the album that really go with this energy are Shabrang, Eden and Rhode. All Rivers At Once was a very pleasant suprise, as it really is a very new sound for her. It reminds me a slightly bit of stuff Tori Amos could have done. Dormant goes into a similar direction, although it falls off a bit during it's second half. No Way succeeds in what Habibi and Gole Bi Goldoon try and Comet is extremely well produced, although it's obviously meant as an outro-track. So yeah, I enjoy Shabrang, but based on the singles I expected it to be much more powerful and passionate than it turned out to be.
-
Is it me or is Lamp Lady mastered slightly more quiet than the rest of the album?
-
I'm SOOOO excited for this. And I just phoned my mum and she casually dropped how she's looking forward to listen to the revord on her way to work tomorrow
-
All of this heresy and then you end it with the most cringy lyric from her most overrated track ? Better take it down hun ... Meanwhile I hope CoCC will be her Honeymoon 2.0
-
Habibi is beautifully produced and I'm extremely excited for the visuals. However, I feel like it's a stronger album-song than single.
