  1. honestly having people compare some of the songs on this album to phoebe bridgers... as if that's a bad thing, makes me more excited for songs like the man with the axe:excited:

well but thats not a fiasco, its a good thing! just means the concerts were on high demand

i think the issue was a lot of people were saying it must have been bots that bought the tickets so they could be resold at way higher prices

immunity was great, really interesting early 2000s on VHS kind of aesthetic, it actually felt very authentically retro unlike her debut EP which was a little awkward in my opinion, it was also kind of cinematic in an odd way too, i thought she would go in a similar route with this, but of course she had to go with jack like every other pop girl now for some bizarre reason and she went for the boring taylor swift folklore route with this album, it's a shame... i think sling is growing on me but i still find it quite dull, especially for her second album

Just started Immunity. I liked Alewife but Closer To You has just started and I'm confused where this album is going...

  4. Is Immunity more of a summer album? I was going to give Sling a listen but I've seen a few posts about it being more suited for end of summer / when it starts to get colder. I think I'd rather wait for the weather to be appropriate to help me get into it. I haven't heard Immunity either, I only know the 2017-18 singles.

Listening to all of the Dreaming, The Ninth Wave and A Sky of Honey for example were the highlights of my life :trisha:

the amount of times i've sat in a completely dark room and listened to Hounds of Love and been completely immersed in the story of The Ninth Wave, so good:icant:

  6. if there is another single coming before album release day it can happen on quite a few days

sometimes it's released the friday before the album, or on the monday of release week or even wednesday a lot closer to the friday

Every time we get some proper info ATRL requires to sign in….I hate this site.:lange:

does anyone know why this happens?

i've been reading some of the threads on there for the last few weeks and only now is it asking me to sign in to view. this is the same forum that doesn't allow you register an account, talk about exclusives :/

anyway i'm ready for blue banisters to come thru any day now

I read that the beginning of Yosemite is botched, does anyone know which streaming service that is because mine is fine?

i might be wrong but this could be about the start of Yosemite being at the end of NAWWAL which makes it a bit jarring, especially when listening to NAWWAL on single repeat. i know this happens on spotify but not sure about if it's just on there or other streaming platforms.

  9. what confuses me about Man's World and Purge The Poison is that both songs pack in so many ideas and information yet there are still things that both mention. both songs feel like the equivalent of someone just talking at you without a second for reflection and realising impact. i think that's why i'm not clicking with the songs that much. the album announcement really does not excite me and i'm not going to be following the pre-release that much anymore.

before the "storm" i was enjoying l+f pre-release (to this day i still can't decide how i feel about that album) but i was so much more hyped back then than i am now.
