she really did that with this album i love how varied it is, and that the unreleased blend in so well black bathing suit, wildflower wildfire, if you lie down with me, thunder, arcadia are the standouts for me... aaaaand nectar of the gods + living legend ofc violets for roses was a total grower -
wonder if they ever finished that painting job really cute mv, this and the og arcadia one are my favorites i’m dying to hear the album on friday, haven't heard the leak

wait… the single and album are coming so soon, i’m not readyyyy i hope there are not 5 unreleased songs on this, that’s too much

after only casually liking some of halsey’s songs i didn’t know what to expect, but yeah… i’m shook, this album is really good! NIN’s production is outstanding. love the atmosphere, so cohesive yet varied. not a bad song on here but my favs are probably The Tradition, Bells In Santa Fe, Lilith, Girl Is A Gun, Whispers, I am not a woman, I'm a god, The Lighthouse

I Didn't Change My Number, Billie Bossa Nova, Oxytocin, Halley's Comet, OverHeated, Your Power, NDA … my favorites i think the album is really good, her debut was a bit more instant for me, this is more of a grower i think a collab between billie/finneas and lana would be really interesting

omg!! i'm feeling a bit nervous about all these new producers and her releasing 3 songs at the anniversary of QFTC. Hoping the “revenge” songs are not super cringe and messy… -
So after listening to the album for the past week I have to say that it’s as good as her other albums, I personally can’t even rank them, I love them all in different ways… My fave song is Yosemite, wow what a stunning track, love the cinematic, epic, witchy production… and lana sounds amazing on it. It’s the Heroin of COCC. The bridge gives me goosebumps, it’s so dreamy, I love when she inserts spoken word like this, Burnt Norton, 13 Beaches… My other top song is White Dress… it’s so catchy! i adore her raw, imperfect vocals on this, giving me almost Janis Joplin vibes in the chorus. the production is really interesting, cinematic and intricate. It’s great that she’s experimenting with her voice, using both her higher and lower register throughout the album… I also love the title track, Tulsa Jesus Freak, Wild At Heart, Dark But Just A Game, Not All Who Wander Are Lost At first I was a little disappointed by the three closing tracks, they seemed weak in comparison to the closers on LFL and NFR, but I’m coming around to them, they really fit the vibe of this album… Breaking Up Slowly is too short though… Dance Till We Die is kinda different for lana, she sounds like a true rock chick in the bridge!

Let Me Love You Like a Woman (Single) - OUT NOW: October 16th, 2020

she sounds absolutely gorgeous on this song, she kinda has her ”old voice” back. it’s a beautiful song, but very short, for being a lana song… -
Yeees, taste!! also Perfume is a massive banger. i’m glad this album is getting good reviews!
-
one of her best videos for sure, so visually stunning
-
ok, so i'm obsessed with the new album, it’s all killer no filler for me. Top tracks: Half-Way & One Step Forward Solve Coagula Broken Needle this album has totally sent me down the MM rabbit hole and i’m now revisiting their whole discography, so many iconic songs… and bops! Manson really has one of my favorite voices in music, very unique voice..

Lana Del Rey is blonde and gone...

Hope “Dealer” is not another “Yosemite”… I swear she loves torturing her fans with these delays for every project, no clarifications and songs she hypes but then never releases… Interesting interview, but kinda vague. She and Jack know EVERYTHING that’s going on, about what??? Loved what she said about her melodies, she’s definitely a master when it comes to crafting them.

And if you asked my sister to describe the first thing she thinks of when she thinks of me she would say "camp fire smoke" lol I love her weirdo lines like this Violet is amazing, I actually like all of the poems. Her poetry is similar to her songwriting but less dramatic and more reflective. She has a unique style. It’s so calming to listen to this, I love it! Favorites atm: LA Who Am I to Love You, The Land of 1,000 Fires, SportCruiser, My Bedroom is a Sacred Place Now, Bare Feet on Linoleum!

I actually love LFL, it was a good contrast to HM with the more upbeat sound and all the features. A throwback to BTD but also a leap forward with lana exploring new topics in her songwriting. It’s probably lana’s most fun, carefree album. also it has 13 Beaches, Cherry, Summer Bummer and Heroin
