Speaking of Barrie, didn't he say he would release Riverside on Lana's birthday? I remembered because I saw tons of people reminding him on his social media accounts but he didn't respond to anyone.

I'd love to hear Lana cover I'm On Fire by Bruce Springsteen and Wicked Game by Chris Isaak, especially since we know she really likes these songs.

I really hope we see the same level of change and ingenuity in this song that West Coast had as a first single, but I'm afraid it might sound like her more recent work for Big Eyes. I remember how blown away I was by West Coast when it premiered because it sounded like nothing she had done before .

I'm going to this show! My tickets aren't that great because this venue is so expensive and the seats right below the stage are the most pricy (no GA) but I think just seeing her in Hollywood at such an iconic venue will make up for it.

Feminists don't want to dictate the decisions of other women--they want all women to be able to make their own decisions. And I really emphasize all women because most people who are quick to cast off feminism as a silly, in-your-face fad are those who are satisfied with their rights and seem to forget the millions of women who don't live in America or Europe and don't have these rights, and whose very lives are often threatened by misogyny. These women are one of the main reasons why we need feminism, because nothing else is helping them. Feminism's goal is to ensure that every woman is able to live her life the way she wants it and make her own choices without any fear of misogynistic backlash. So feminism would applaud Lana's individuality and independence as a female and an artist, not condemn it. (Btw I don't think you'd be very happy if we let everyone do what they want like you suggest )
