    Coloring Book is really cool, it feels like a perfect album closer. The repeated "ah"s are kind of annoying tho. Can we talk abt Glue Stick too? That song is literally amazing, with a little more work I feel like it could've been a smash. Why does Melanie always scrap good songs :crai:

    Hoping we get Eraser, Seesaw, "Challenges," I Scream (Solo Demo), and Night Mime (Cry Baby Demo) soon!

    Are Animal Crackers and Toy Chest actual songs? I know Melanie said they were titles considered for her album, but do you know if they are actual tracks?

    I think this is fourth snippet that leaked of the final version.

    We had snippets of it since 2020.

    Notice: Only the first three snippets are real, the rest are fake.

     

    Apparently it's not the final, it's the Cry Baby demo. Also, some of those snippets of the final sound like live rips or live acapella filters over an instrumental. imo.

    These leakers should just, like, bless us with a Melanie mass where we get a bunch of Cry Baby outtakes (Coloring Book, Night Mime, Jump Rope, ZZZZ [CD], I Scream [Solo Demo], etc) and ofc Glue Stick, Eraser, and the "Challenge" song.

    Apparently the version of Night Mime from the snippet is the Cry Baby version from late 2013. i hope that it means it has the chorus, but i wish it was the final :crai:

    You can tell they restrict themselves to a certain concept/sound with their music. It was evident with K-12 imo. Like Melanie could be sitting on "The world's best song" or something, and not release it if it doesn't fit their concept criteria.

    Melanie probably kept them unreleased because the songs didn't fit the story/concept they were trying to tell with their debut album. Melanie did say that the songs that made the record were some of the most personal and special to them so that explains it.
