  1. One of my best friends hated the album, whereas I liked it a lot. However, it is not without its faults.

Certainly the album opens with tremendous dance floor power: Alice is one of the best songs that I have listened to in recent memory. Stupid Love, Rain On Me, you know the deal: excellent.

Everything was great up until 911. 911, Plastic Doll, Sour Candy, all fell flat in my opinion. The Elton John song was a skip for me.

I suppose I like Chromatica a lot coming from a house music fan/DJ perspective. So many of these songs are dance floor ready.

  2. Excellent work as per usual. Boys Noize's contribution to the song is excellent. I look forward to an extended version being released for club play. Great work.

  3. The taste...Pressure is so good.

Oh shit I'm so happy this thread exists, is it an exclusively techno thread or can we turn it into a general electro one :defeated: I'm discovering so much stuff rn I'm SO into this genre

  4. Only Dua could make me return to the LanaBoards...

Excellent follow up to one of my favorite albums of all time. Gutted about how fast it flies by, but I suppose that's a side effect of having fun, which I had a ton of while listening to this album.

I am going to have to listen to this album several times before coming to a conclusion, but I can say for sure that it did not surpass s/t for me at this juncture.

In full transparency I joined the Dua Lipa fanbase following "One Kiss" and Alison Wonderland's remix of "New Rules".

Regardless, Dua is here to stay. Future Nostalgia, indeed.

Side note: "Cool" made me think about my crush, who also happens to be British. God I hope this virus goes away so she returns from London.

    AHHHH

  5. I had a feeling that it was a good idea to sit out this tour after I saw Charli perform at Le Poisson Rouge after her Gov. Ball performance was cancelled due to weather. Much more intimate venue featuring a smaller crowd consisting of what I imagine are her more serious fans. I don't think these larger venues are reflective of her current music with the exception of "Next Level Charli" and "Shake It". I also find a good amount of these post Pop 2 fans to be overly aggressive for reasons I cannot figure out. It is as if they neglect all her work with the exception of Vroom Vroom and Pop 2. What do I know though? One of my favorite songs of hers is Boom Clap.
