Lana thinking about the July 4 release date and changing the lyrics to "Thunder": don't do it, don't do it, just wait....
-
-
"Thunder" to me sounds like a very promising draft of a song. It lacks a certain oomph but it could be reworked into something truly beautiful. That said, reworking a song doesn't always translate into a superior quality. In any case, I'm interested in seeing how it will fit with the rest of the songs on the tracklist and how it will communicate with the three new singles.

She has decided to change the title because she wants it to have three words (in the spirit of Rock Candy Sweet), but she still considers "Blue Banisters" to be the lead song, so she settles for....
Chickens Running Barefeet
-- goes well with the troll aesthetic of the cover
-- captures her love for birds (Bird World)
-- echoes her message about running with wolves
-- evinces her penchant for deliberate (or not) mistakes

June 4 is this coming Friday; July 2 at 12:00 AM EST (Friday) is still July 1 in California and the Midwest.
We all know Lana just inadvertently mixed up the two release dates....

Can't a girl just do the best she can?" -

Maybe already pointed out, but Pitchfork has included "Text Book" in their weekly playlist:
They should have given her the BNT distinction too...

Woke up to this mess/exciting news. These usually two go together these days.
Any chance "Rock Candy Sweet" is the first single and Blue Banisters is the actual album? Just trying to make sense of all this...

Why do I have the feeling this is just a colossal joke? So confused right now... But imagine two amazing albums released two months apart?
