I never get that cohesiveness thing. Sometimes it’s better when an album is messy and all over the place than staying cohesive because it can get boring imo

Let’s not forget UV and Honeymoon also aren’t as praised as they deserve to be. Ocean Blvd is gonna be a gem for the girls who get it

On a positive note, NME calling it masterful still is a rather really thing, basically saying she’s consistent in being incredible. Most artists get trashed from playing it safe, but Lana definitely does otherwise, since the composition of the album is rather risky

I don't understand the word unmelodic at all, it definitely doesn't describe the songs on Ocean Blvd

Kintsugi is giving Joanna Newsom with its length and great lyrical content

I want to see her be overwhelmed by Lana's greatness, Queen Mother and all I blame Gaga psychofans
