i have to admit, all this is making me very frustrated and sad. i’ve considered myself the biggest sky fan for the past several years and i don’t think i’ll ever turn on her, just because of how connected i feel to her music and as an artist. but even i have to admit a lot isn’t being told to her fans. whoever’s fault it is, capitol or sky, the fans that waited 9 years for 2 songs, deserve an explanation. i was so hopeful this would be the year masochism finally saw the light of day, but unfortunately i really do believe if all that momentum she got earlier this year, couldn’t get the album out there, we are truly never going to get it. i’ll always support sky and i’ll stream the album if it ever does come out but i don’t believe sending hateful comments and energy her way is the solution. i really hope we get some sort of clarity as to what is truly going on. at this point if she still can’t get the album out there, there is nothing else she can do to gain the support from her label so therefore she should just be 100% transparent for once instead of being vague and beating around the bush and then her fans could actually do something to help the situation. i love sky and i really hope we all make it to see the other side where the album has finally dropped.

i think those comments under her post were completely unwarranted and rude and whoever wrote that is entitled as hell to her art and they are lucky she played it respectful bc if i was getting told those comments i would NOT have bit my tongue and said a lot worse. as for the covers, @Eclipse is accusing her of being a fraud OVER SONGS SHE HASNT EVEN RELEASED. who knows if she will ever release legends and guardian but as for as we know SHE HASNT RELEASED SO SHE HASNT CREDITED HERSELF, we don’t even know if they will be on masochism lol. for EIE, she’s still good friends with blood orange (dev hynes) he even brought her out on stage in 2016 as a surprise performance, so no one knows how involved in the writing process of EIE she was, the truth is none of us know besides them two. i doubt she is just stealing demos if it’s taken this long to release masochism but the point is that no one knows besides her, but there is no need to be rude as hell as that person was in her ig comments. As for the topic of fan made album covers i will be going with this shot from the pitchfork interview photo shoot, with no text just bc i don’t think she would put text over masochism’s album cover.
