    She's said in the past that she feels a similar way (tired of the old sound/feels as if there's not much more to do with it, wants to challenge herself/surprise others) and that the new album is a change of direction, so I guess we'll see. XCX5 almost definitely still has A. G. involvement though

    So with Apple Music For Artists you can go to the request artist access page and get a list of songs that have come out/are coming out soon. This is probably just from someone trying to upload Charli's demo of Hurts Like Hell (the song that ultimately went to Madison Beer) onto streaming, but it's weird how I can't find the cover art anywhere and how it is still listed. Definitely means nothing but I thought it was worth sharing regardless :toofunny:

    The more I see stuff like "Chromatica is her best era" and "Ava Max is a genius" and "Addison Rae comes up with great lyric concepts and is a great popstar" and seeing Charlie Puth and Black Eyed Peas listed as inspirations for the next album the more I just wonder exactly what kind of sell out era she is talking about. And with that list of influences I am less excited and more confused than I've ever been about a Charli release before. I don't know how to feel. I did like what I heard of the two new songs played at Bandsintown, and I like a lot of the artists listed in that tweet, but I don't see 1) how they fit Charli or 2) how they go together at all. I guess I'll just wait for the lead single to drop and see, although 1999 and BIOYL weren't exactly telling of the entirety of Charli.

    That’s Noonie Bao’s studio so it definitely doesn’t confirm another collab or anything but I think there probably will be one anyway

    The Unlock It/Superlove sound on TikTok is now credited as a song by some guy named Roy KK who stole the remix from the creator and uploaded the mashup onto streaming. I knew something was coming when Charli’s credit got removed a few days ago but I wasn’t expecting this.
