Look, if we're going to complain about any songs on the album, Beautiful ain't one of them. Blue Banisters or NOTG, fine, but y'all will respect queen Beautiful. <spoiler> But we love all the songs if we're being honest with ourselves </spoiler>

It was pages ago, so I don't remember who posted it, but you were SO RIGHT about replacing The Trio with White Dress. The way it flows from Arcadia is perfection.

I've been depressed as hell for months, and I'm just sitting here crying over nothing in an A&W parking lot drinking root beer through a soggy paper straw while blaring Beautiful and Violets for Roses on repeat. 10/10 love this album.

I hadn't listened to any of the older, unreleased songs on the album before it came out, but I can tell they aren't as lyrically or sonically complex as the new songs. I love them, but the album as a whole is stronger with them removed. I don't want them removed because they are seriously great, but they definitely feel like they are from a different time. Give me White Dress, Chemtrails, Tulsa, and Dark but just a Game and take out the old songs from BB, and you have her best album. Yes, even Dealer

After sitting with it for a bit, VFR and Beautiful are both top tier (especially the orchestral version of the latter). Thunder slaps but doesn't vibe with the album as a whole. It should have been cut and leaked later.

I get that everyone was getting tired of the Antonoff sound, but he crafted some gorgeous songs. You're just going to pretend NFR! as an album, White Dress, and Dark But Just A Game don't exist? Lana benefits from working with a lot of different producers. I'm happy she's working with others, but Jack does not deserve the hate he's getting. We can appreciate each producer and what they bring without trashing the others.

Black Bathing Suit gets better each listen.
