    Not even gonna quote those silly arguments, like what are people gonna do if they don't like a song? :biblio:  They just waited for Charli to release something better

     

    In my opinion it is:

     

    Breaking Up >/= Gold Coins > London Queen > Break The Rules >>>> Boom Clap

    I still can't watch the London Queen lyric video

     

    And the song has grown on me SOOOO MUCH. It has that punk influence that kinda suits Charli. And I can say the same about BTR, which is a fucking bop. The only song I dislike is Boom Clap

    The studio version has grown on me a lot, I like it so much more now

    Bad choice for a single imo so I hope that's not what it is... Honestly from the songs she's revealed so far, I'm certain Famous would do the best.

     

    Famous, Caught In The Middle and Need Your Love would all make better singles. Even Sucker  :air:

     

    Is it really confirmed it will be the next single? It should be a promo single or a song to make buzz for the album tbh

    Those are some of my favorites, but it's probably because I like hip hop.

     

    Same, I really like her hip hop influences. Dreams Money Can Buy >>>> 

     

    Even though I looooove So Far Away (let's not talk about Cloud AIDS), these two songs in particular definitely encapsulate the "trying to be cool" thing about this album that Charli is so opposed to. (I don't necessarily think the rest of the album does aside from prominent use of samples--she made synthpop for a long time so in some ways the implication that TR is not the real her is a cop-out to explain shouting at us in all her new songs.) They seem more like mixtape tracks and prob didn't deserve a place on the album over Midnight and Mess.

     

    Yeah, I get those ''trying to be cool'' vibes, but I think they are next level. I wouldn't be mad if we got new songs instead of them in TR since they were already in the mixtapes, but I still don't get why they are the least liked tracks among the fanbase

     

    So Far Away is just soooo good, it makes me feel like floating  :defeated: And Cloud Aura is the ultimate bop imo, it must be Brooke's best verse

    That may have been before I joined. I feel like a longtime member now, I've seen a few come and go, I was here before 14 leaked... but I haven't been here nearly as long as some, although I was a fan of Charli almost a year before this thread was made. I just never really looked for a Charli forum because I was pretty certain one wouldn't exist. I only knew of ATRL.

     

    I wish I joined this forum sooner  :defeated: Like... The first time I joined a forum was Operation Gaga and it was this year. I never knew that there could be forums about singers and they would be so entertaining. I was always asking ppl to listen to Charli because noone here knew about her before Fancy  :creep:

    To be honest I would believe that her label encouraged her but not FORCED her, i.e. she realized she would make more money that way so she went with it. But that kind of makes me respect the decision even less so...

     

    I mean I understand being a musician is a job. But like advertising, which I plan to go into, there's a degree of integrity youre expected to maintain. And I don't think she's doing her best to maintain it. She may make more money this way, but why the hell did she not just wait until Boom Clap ran its course before saying for CERTAIN the album will be out October 21st... At this point she already made a promise to her fans and IMO that is compromising her integrity. If it weren't for us she wouldn't be making any money in the first place so it's a low blow.

     

    Basically what I'm saying is, don't punish us for your poor decisions Charlotte.

     

    In a way, we are like investors in a company. And she's not really treating us very well for our investments lol. I've made so many people into Charli fans. I would honestly like to know how many listens, views, and coins she made because of me.

     

    I'm not that mad with her, but the thing that really pisses me off is that she promised it. I mean, if the first date was December/January I wouldn't have nothing against it, it's just that we were expecting it before and she promised sooo many times since True Romance that she would be releasing the 2nd album really soon

     

    I said in other post I was angry/upset but I would say it's more like I feel disappointed. I thought she was the kind of artist to fight with the label
