Oh yeah! It IS gonna be her most experimental record yet
-
Yep, it reminded me of BTD/paradise + Sweet Carolina + Once upon a dream + OB

I find so funny that people literally post on Instagram in the height of their emotions… also, wasn’t him without his cellphone? So he went to his notebook, entered Instagram, made a post (it wasn’t even a story, which would also be awful but more believable to be on the height of emotions), even put hashtags, all in the height of emotions? Wow, you gotta be very… emotional

Yes I would be pissed off if my phone was stolen and I am from Rio de Janeiro but I’m surely not cursing an entire country for it lol This sucks in so many levels… firstly because we the Brazilians suffer muuuuch more than this asshole with urban violence in here and yet he is attacking Brazil as if the whole country is liable for that when actually we are the biggest victims of its inequality Secondly because at the same time it perpetuates the belief that every Brazilian (as happens with other Central and South American Countries and also African and some Asian countries) is worse than people from the first world i.e. Europeans and North Americans. You know, xenophobia

What a disgusting xenophobic piece of shit HE is. Lana has to fire him asap

I have the impression that she really likes to change the songs live, and regarding the old songs she changes to suit her voice more but from what I remember she’s always done that. The notes from her oldest songs are very low and maybe do not work for such a huge crowd. regarding the setlist, I’m not a big fan of fan favorites either (such as video games and Venice bitch) but she HAS to sing these songs, specially on festivals. regarding the production of the show, I actually prefer something more raw as she used to do in her first tours. It’s funny because I thought that Lana’s fans would rather a more raw concept but what I see in LB is that people expect her to do mainstream pop singers things like having dancers, promoting singles in tv shows etc… I don’t really feel it’s her vibe at all. -

Yes she cried on the grants and I think also on OB Also the crowd also requested cinnamon girl and she started singing Venice bitch and said “fuck!” I think she was impressed with everybody requesting cinnamon girl (but it’s my impression, I may be wrong and she said fuck because of something else) -

I was actually happy when the crowd was not singing lol her microphone was so low that they were basically the only times I could clearly hear her voice -

Just got home from the show. She was amazing, an angel, so charismatic. It was the first time I acknowledged Lana really wanted to be there singing on stage. Her voice was amazing and I think she did hit the notes of her BTD songs, but If you saw it on multishow you’ll have heard it better because the structure of the event was awful lol her microphone was very low; I think even her thought that because she wanted to sing two more songs and they didn’t let her she was indeed nervous on the first songs and lost some of the lyrics but she quickly got herself together and put an amazing show. She also was amazingly beautiful like wow with or without the wig. The beginning of the show was clearly an analogy to CN video, she was doing backstage things such as putting make up and taking her wig off with the assistance of an assistance while on stage singing Bartender. It was like backstage on stage as Candy Necklace is behind the cameras on cameras -

LDRX - Thoughts & Speculations Thread
bia replied to shadesofloveduthenandnow's topic in Lana Thoughts
What I think it’s going to be: 1. pop and experimental like A&W, the last three songs of OB and SYTH final version - sometimes I have the feeling she’s coming more in an AKA atmosphere too, in an experimental way either; 2. Dark piano and/or guitar ballads similar to CN; 3. Bland piano ballads; and 4. Shallow and cute songs like Margaret Considering the producers she’s worked with, I’d say she’s gonna work with Antonoff, Rick Nowels and Jon Batiste (she’s honouring him very much since OB release) What I want it to be: I just wished she would do a more cohesive album like BTD, UV and HM, in a very innovative way. I love A&W so maybe she should take this direction, but I’d love it to be totally unexpected and different as UV was when we only had BTD, and as HM was when we only had UV and BTD. For this direction, she could rework with Emile hayne, David kahne and… Jack Antonoff (sorry ). I would like her to work with Patrick Berger who only produced OTTR which is my favorite song from her and also very experimental. I’d like to see what more they have to offer. Speaking of OTTR, I wish she would do storytelling lyrics like that and A&W -

I really like the idea of her releasing one complex album followed by a new version hit unreleased. We will get the album + the new unreleased version + the other versions of the unreleased. It’s perfect, Lana for all tastes (and I’m delighted by all these tastes) with commercial success and deep songs for her fans. LDR10 can be followed by Serial Killer -

Now this is getting serious. Say Yes To Heaven? Ok, good song, sometimes I think about playing it at my wedding if I ever get married. Fine China? Now this is another level, one of my favorite Lana songs of all time. The lyrics… omg… and in this case I can tell that it’s better to take off the bridge lol the songs has 5 or 6 minutes and can be cut in half. The bridge and outro are so repetitive and add nothing to the song. Ideally to me she should make a new bridge with lyrics in the same level as the chorus and verses but now THIS is too delulu -

How do I vote on the poll on discord? I can’t find it someone help me please -
It’s not misheard but I always sing “sitting on the sopa feeling super suicidal”. Sopa is soup in Portuguese
-
Yeah!! I feel like this Song is just a bunch of Lana’s classic or cliché lyrics desperately put together… it’s a mess
-
It was on 2011 I guess when my friend told me about a singer with a song named “Born To Die” and I found it really cringy lol but on 2013 I remembered listening to BTD album, I don’t remember why I surpassed the cringy feeling but I remember listening to Blue Velvet and finding it so beautiful, and then listening to Dark Paradise and enjoying it but being shocked with the lyrics. The same happened when I listened to Cola but in a opposite way lol
