It hasn't been "officially announced" but like, she has been teasing it on her posts, that Atlantic exec said there was an exciting feature that 'hopefully will drop quite soon', and it leaked in full. I mean, I think it's clear that this is a planned release and it's coming soon (June 30 according to that forum).

that reminds me of those horrible Japanese versions of Boom Clap/Break The Rules, and this cute Chinese version of Boys I only found out about like 2 days ago:
-
It's on this Chinese website: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1V7411T74f/
-
I made this playlist with the videos that someone filmed. It's the whole show except Every Rule and Twice.
-
if by over you mean at her peak and looking hot in it then yeah
-
Yeah but I swear it changes every night. It literally is either on shuffle or alphabetical but it's never consistent, like she just handed the sound person a flash drive with the songs and they just play whatever..
-
Wait she actually played it this time?? That's a first.. 😱 Regarding the track order, I think they're just hitting shuffle every night, it's the XCX World Playlist at this point 😵 maybe it's her way of communicating that there never was an official tracklist(?)

Some people think he does because of the "Thomas" lyrics (even though everyone calls him Wes) and coz it sounds like Bitch I'm Madonna. But I highly doubt it. She never mentioned him when promoting the album (like she did Stargate and BloodPop). Bounce is most likely just A. G. and SOPHIE (and Yasutaka Nakata on the versions with the "YSTK KPP" bridge).

Sunshine Factory is cool. I'm not as crazy about it as the darker TLH but it's def growing on me (the singles are all great). Her lyricism is so idiosyncratic.. she's still got it!
-
No this is literally breaking my heart, she loved her so much 😭💔 Rest In Power SOPHIE

They erased the earings for the "animated cover" because i guess it was hard to animate them. But she did wear them on the cover. She even talked about them in this video:

Omg thank u for making this <3 must have taken forever It's funny how when they ask Charli what music she's listening to, she's always like "my own, my album, I don't like listening to other music, etc." but she's clearly a melomaniac and has a super eclectic taste and has made like a billion playlists and is thinking about music all the time lol
-
I shared it a few pages ago, it was literally the songs ordered alphabetically (with Die 4 probably written as [The] One I Die For or smthn because it was played before Queen Lizzy). And she didn't play ATAP.
-
2013 me is squealing with anticipation edit: wait is it out alreadyy????!!
-
The label is definitely pressuring her to make tiktoks, but she also likes making tiktoks so.. i guess everybody wins? (everybody except halsey)
-
Oh okay. I just found the songlist so I'll make a spotify playlist instead
-
By any chance does anyone have Charli's Supergirls <3 Superlove <3 Mixtape <3 ??? 🙏
-
Omg yes, I hadn't noticed! As @Lukeb said, the person who sent her the files probably had it titled as "The One I Die For" and it got sorted by the letter O or something Yeah, that makes sense too. I mean, she was playing all these songs before the show during the US dates and only now moved Taxi to the end. But still, she did say it was never meant for the album so it kinda works out..
-
Yeah, she played it third. This is the track order she used: Before the show Bounce (2.3 version) Can You Hear Me Come To My Party Down Like Whoa Girls Night Out (Pete Tong version) Good Girls I Wanna Be With U No Angel (SOPHIE demo) Die 4 Queen Lizzy Waterfall After the show Taxi (it makes a lot of sense that she would play Taxi separately because it was never intended for the album)

I used the Bounce instrumental to improve the audio on that iconic Kimmel performance... It's still not great because the live mix was awful, but I tried my best (and her energy more than makes up for any sound issues tbh). EDIT: Vimeo deleted my account so I uploaded it here instead https://uTHOT/wlyarl

I've spent an unhealthy amount of time thinking about XCX World this past month. The buildup to it really felt like the promise of something glossy and magical back in 2016, but now it feels kinda heartbreaking and bittersweet. It's infuriating how she was met with so much resistance just when she was starting to come into her own as an artist (it literally would have been SO iconic if she had been given a chance to realize her vision ). I'm glad she was able to push through and stick to her creative impulses and turn noes into yeses, delays into mixtapes and leaks into new beginnings... It was a beautiful dream that met a terrible fate. It was punished for challenging the status quo but it paved the way for even more exciting bleep-bloop music. XCX World was all these things. But most importantly, XCX World is a place in our hearts. 💕 (Okay, I think I will give this a rest now and go back to streaming Crash.)

It's not so much an issue with the clearance of the songs but rather that SOPHIE was the main collaborator/creative partner for that release and Charli said it wouldn't feel right to finish that project without her. I mean, she could get a bunch of "hyperpop"/PC-adjacent creatives to work on these songs, but it just wouldn't be the same (although that would work really well as a remix album imo). I still hope she will revisit this album someday in some capacity (kinda like Brian Wilson with Smile). But if she doesn't I can respect that as well.
