I need to get to the bottom of the murder of Mean Girls(George Daniel remix)
-
I really need Charli to release the stems for Brat and the remixes. I honestly wouldn't mind purchasing them officially from her store. And It fits the era + she has done it before. What are you waiting for Charlene.
-
I wish they didn’t bail on it. It was so cool and unique.
-
Why is Von Dutch the only one with the word remix… I’m scared Thank you for starting the conversation.
-
Am I the only one who sees heavy inspiration from Lana’s recent work in this album? Like the diaristic lyrics, the topics, the rawness, spoken word-ish delivery, the Everything is Romantic orchestra and descriptive mise-en-scene, obviously the Lana reference in Mean Girls and the 360_brat account.
-
Everything is Romantic is honestly such step forward, lyrically, instrumentally and genre wise. It’s all so cinematic and vivid but still abrasive. I need her to work more with El Guincho, I knew he was gonna deliver.
-
Everything is Romantic is everything
-
Honestly Yeah I think that if the primary focus is on the producers that would be the best, with the occasional feature. But it would be cool if the reinterpretations are exclusively by the same producers that participated in making of the album. Like a second version of the album that still exists within a similar sonic palette.

Who you guys wanna see on a Brat remix album? Im thinking of Bad Gyal Troye Bladee & Yung Lean
-
I love the storytelling of the song! I can picture it vividly. Feels like a movie.

Claiming The apple Also, whats up with that 25$ shipping, I’m not paying 40$ for a CD Gonna wait till it’s on retail shelves
-
George Daniel absolutely DEVOURED his set. Mean Girls x Faceshopping was peak. Does he have any solo projects ? I know about the hills remix, the WTMI remix and his other production for Charli and the 1975.
-
Also, Camila’s song is really good. And yeah it’s very much a bite of Charli’s whole style but it still sounds good, specially the production by El Guincho. (I also like Carti’s feat ). But just because it’s a copycat doesn’t mean It’s impossible to enjoy tho. If I were in Charli’s shoes I would definitely be frustrated by the obvious similarity. But it’s still Charli who will be remembered as the blueprint and innovator. From here on out the best she can do is continue to push boundaries and let others catch-up to her.

I’m just gonna say that im loving this rollout. I love the secrecy, the exclusivity and the impulsivity of it. It feels bigger than an album yaknow. Idk. I’m trying to manage my expectations for the album but I’m really HYPEDDRSEEEEEE
-
I need reoccurring tags all across the record!!!! I wanna dance with Charli’s angels I wanna dance with Charli’s angels I wanna dance with Charli’s angels
-
Mean Girls has an interpolation of a Bladee song also called Mean Girls. There is also a remix that features an actual verse from Bladee. This is what I chose to believe until release.
-
365 party girl or 360 brat sound great as an album title
-
Ngl the whole Von Dutch 1 month of teasing is a turn off. BUT I will say that the word of mouth promo / hype for the album I believe she’s trying create is really cool (listening parties/boiler room/etc.) ! Specially cuz it leans into the whole gossip theme of the album. If she’s going for this type of promo she must be really confident in the album.
-
Honestly, from everything I’ve heard from Charles I’m really excited for the upcoming album. Specially since confrontational and unapologetically direct lyrics are new territory for her. Hoping that spring breakers and make you mine are released as part of the record! They sound so GOOD!

fell on my knees in walmart

Charli's Barbie Girl is such a end credits song

You have the power to bring back one of these projects from the dead which one will you choose?

LDRX - Thoughts & Speculations Thread
Apple n Apple replied to shadesofloveduthenandnow's topic in Lana Thoughts
Now here's my pitch Bring in the synths n percussion Production by Arca, Mike Dean, SALEM and Rick Nowells Rich production, lots of texture Continuation of the vocal deliveries from Ocean -
I'm late to this but the prospects of this record are sounding really interesting to me. Like the influence of Uffie and Lou Reed, the diss lyrics, the current aesthetic, the producers! I'm excited specially if it's something completely new from what we've heard so far in her catalogue.

I need to hear LA who am I (the song not the poem - if that even is it's real title)
