  1. soo, what about the way the album opens with her promising to remember her loved ones when she's in heaven & then the next song is literally her begging them not to forget her
  2. The Grants debut was so holy it caused Lanaboards Armageddon/rapture I knew she was taking us to church but i had no idea how real the experience would be
  3. These John Denver ‘Rocky Mountain High’ lyrics "He climbed cathedral mountains, he saw silver clouds below He saw everything as far as you can see And they say that he got crazy once and he tried to touch the sun And he lost a friend but kept the memory" going so beautifully w The Grants lyrics/theme, no wonder she name dropped, I love that it's what Harry Nilsson's 'Don't Forget Me' was to the title track
  4. officially under an hour to go... time to take a shower, put on my rose-sorbet face mask, pour some prosecco & get seated (lay in bed in my bathrobe) for this single/interview
  5. 𝒯𝒾𝓉𝓁𝑒 (not necessarily your fave 10 but 10 songs that resonate most with you/your life) ♡ in no particular order: Old Money - Wildflower Wildfire - Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd - White Dress - God Knows I Tried - Wild At Heart - Video Games - Sweet - Violets for Roses - Text Book
  6. i def don't listen to her/know her work as much as i should but this is one of my fav tracks ever <33 Sweet n fun.
  7. i love this one so much obviously: "baby you, all the things you do & the ways you move send me straight to Heaven - baby you, what you never knew, what I never said is you're my living legend" is like the highest compliment to another.. adorable, sweet, heart-warming but also: "you never cared about my name & darling I never meant to defy you" // "I never meant to be bad or unwell, I was just living on the edge right between Heaven n Hell & I'm tired of it" is really important to me because it shows the other very real side of love, the one that's not as perfect n beautiful but also exists & can be overcome with the right person <3
  8. oh i bet- i'd love to!!! there's a theatre that plays old movies in the city 30 mins over, here's to hoping they screen it one day glad you got the experience tho !
  9. just finished Vertigo ! I enjoyed it, despite the overt sexism (), as I do most of Hitchcock's flicks lolol it was the 50s, so what can you do.. at least the times have changed but a solid 3.5/5 imo- eerie, unsettling, surprising & all that jazz
  10. That mockup Lana posted revealing the tracklist is truly criminal bc it had Fingertips on the B Side too & now I feel broken it would've been so amaze if Kintsugi flowed right into Fingytips without us having to switch sides .... also lmao the accuracy of D Side truthers sdufdghfjksd
  11. Side B has 3 tracks acc doesn't it?... Fingertips is amaze n Kintsugi n Candy Necklace both sound quite promising off their respective snippets so it def can be edit: nvm i looked at a tracklist mockup FUCK
  12. i think it's a damn shame when people write entire songs off in advance solely because of the producer to each his own, i guess if you expect the very worse it can only go up from there so that's good but it just seems a bit silly. I'll be honest, for me it's Jack who I'm not the most fond of but he still undoubtedly has talent & those magic moments that really get me & I go into every one of his songs w Lana hoping for one. why would I hope for anything less- I got nothing against the dude personally & I'd rather have another track by my fave to enjoy! sometimes it sits, sometimes it doesn't.. point is, it's worth a shot you know plus sometimes even if the prod isn't your very fave, Lana's melodies n lyrics are truly more than enough to save it
