  1. The way when this is getting released, I will make my own album to meet my fantasy and forget BOTL, Spider Web and Light Shower ever existed!
  2. When is the album going to leak?!?! im getting bored and we already know al the songs, I just wanna stream it and listen to the HD versions
  3. So imma try to get the meaning of the songs (to try understand the story), cause some of them are rather confusing, feel free to give your opinions (this is just my take on it): 1. DEATH: The death of Crybaby as it is and the rebirth into a new life. She talks about a funeral and how she’s coming back to haunt a past love interest. 2. VOID: She talks about self sabotage and intrusive thoughts. My guess is she’s comparing the void to a mental state. The theme sounds similar to Dragons Blood. 3. TUNNEL VISION: She’s talking about a love interest who is trying to get to her only for the sexual pleasure by lying and giving a wrong impression… leaving behind her whole persona, and how disappointed she’s to discover him. Reminds me of Cake. 4. FAERIE SOIREE: This one talks about leaving your path to get caught up by the “magic”. Mythological fairy dances are often known to leave you dancing for eternity loosing sense of reality… similar to the lotus people. Not sure if she’s portraying this as bad or good, or even if she’s comparing it to a real life experience like addiction. 5. LIGHT SHOWER: A love song, comparing the love she feels to the water… reminds me of Training Wheels in a way. I’m not sure if there’s an intentional sex reference in this like in Madonnas Liquid Love or Rain. 6. SPIDER WEB: Addiction to technology and social media. She compares it to a spider web that once ur hooked up, you can’t leave it. 7. LEECHES: She talks about toxic relationships and people who only see you as a source of income, same as leeches who feed from who they’re attached to. Similar to Numbers, Piggyback of Detention. 8. BATTLE OF THE LARYNX: Very out of context within the album, I believe this one talks about a toxic relationship, telling him not to make her scream? Don’t know, the lyrics are all over the place in this one. First of many diss tracks to Oliver Tree. 9. THE CONTORTIONIST: I have several doubts with this one… at first I though she was talking about sex, but with the “it’s no fun” line I think she may be referring to a manipulative relationship where your partner has the upper hand and forces you to meet his standards to “fit on a box”. 10. MOON CYCLE: Periods… YUH! Talking to a partner. 11. NYMPHOLOGY: Here she’s probably talking to a love interest with a lot of self love… even if he thinks he’s so smart, she still loves him. Reminds me of Alphabet Boy a LOT. 12. EVIL: Another Oliver Tree diss track… 13. WOMB: Similar to Death, here she mentions rebirth and how everyone after her (her brother) will suffer the same fate. Probably implying another change of dimension for a future proyect.
  4. sorry luv but Melanie has mentioned Bjork several times as an inspiration
  5. Has the album leaked already?
  6. Womb is kinda growing on me… I agree it’s the most “pop” sounding one but nothing wrong with that! I think it’s cute with a catchy chorus
  7. The tracklist letters look fanmade I guess the rest is OK I kinda HATE the back cover for some reason
  8. Light Shower may be going for Spider Webs neck as the worst song in the album… those lyrics and the way her flow is so off… Even if u tried u couldn’t make something sound so off-beat! 0 musicality… the instrumental is also really boring, needs something to spice things up instead of the same guitar chords for 5 minutes Also givin Madonnas Liquid Love in the lyrics, another song about cummin? Is this bitch the same who wrote Training Wheels?
  9. tolerate is the best way to put it! But yes, it’s a shame with such good verses she decided to drop the ball in the chorus… like it’s a completely different song… still a skip! Wish the chorus was better
  10. The pre chorus in Spider Web is actually really good… a shame it’s followed by such horrendous abomination as a beat drop
  11. She’s so pretty… that fucking mask is getting on my nerves! She makes such goofy/funny faces that the alien thing makes things more robotic
  12. I think the video is fine… yall expected too much! By now we know Melanie works certain way (like in The Bakery) why so mad? I mean… is not that bad and even if it’s not avatar level CGI, for what it’s worth
  13. She be becoming Taylor Swift… I see
  14. No, I really like the idea of school for Crybaby (even if it was executed poorly) but in Mad Hatter she resembles a little Crybabies death so… I don’t know! Maybe not literally but more metaphorically by getting more comfortable with her own skin and accepting her “craziness” Also I’m certain the dancers with animal masks are supposed to represent her toys during Crybaby (and specifically in Mad Hatter) I don’t think K-12 was THAT bad and it helped introduce herself to a younger audience ( I must say when I revisited the album I was horrified by those lyrics)
  15. Que video is really cute, better than expected I would have made much more sense as a continuation of Mad Hatter though
  16. do u have another remix of those? I would like to hear it
  17. Portals: 1. Death 5:06 (Album version) 2. Barely Juice 3:50 (Extended fanmade) 3. Nymphology 5:28 4. Tunnel Vision 4:44 (Album version) 5. Faerie Soiree 2:43 (Album version) 6. Dragons Blood 3:33 7. Leeches 5:08 (+Hawaii Space Guitar) 8. Moon Cycle 2:32 (Album version) 9. Garden 3:55 10. Needle & Thread 3:40 11. The Contortionist 4:11 (Extended) 12. Evil 4:06 13. Void 2:57 (Original version) 14. Puzzles 4:02 15. Spider Web 3:06 16. Womb 3:30 imma play this AOTY of the year in my head, multiple Grammys won!
  18. Niiice! Finally she’s givin us something
  19. I will say it, Spider Web is an OK song until that insulting beat drops… it’s like there are two completely different songs… not feeling it, sorry guys
  20. Rose McGowan never fails to make me laugh Everytime Melanie mentions a genital in this album:
  21. Contortionist is a BOP givin Show & Tell
  22. Okay… I may be reaching and It might become a guilty pleasure of mine but I really enjoyed Nymphology… I think is one of the most interesting things she has done so far, is not as repetitive and predictable as Void, Death and Evil and not as awful as Spider Web…. idk
