i dont rank stuff tbh, but pulldrone probably has some of my fave lyrics from ethel ever. amber waves is beautiful and i LOVE how it loops back to the title track. etienne is also incredibly beautiful, might my no.1 for me. idk i cant create a selective ranking, this project is truly incredible the intro reminded me alot of reverend kristin michael hayter's music, and then it followed with this silent hill eerie vibe and the occasional disruptance, amazing opener if you ask me

this. i wish i was in 2022 again stanning ethel bc her fanbase since 2023 has been so weird. its a mixed batch of prentetious people who wanna gatekeep her and are so excited with this idea that she's trying to push people away, and they project that idea on swifties who came into the fandom who aren't fond at all of the idea of a body of work like perverts. they find it weird and offputting. not really their fault i can't lie, but i wish there was more people who actually could appreciate the art ethel makes, and her concepts etc etc, not all this bullshit about "ur too pussy to listen to ethel cain" or "no one wants to hear shitty white noise etc etc" when the project itself is far beyond the idea of just white noise. did you even listen to perverts in the first place?
