  1. Was asking after Lana sings “Jim- im gonna dedicate this whole album for you” and that’s a 2006 song..
  2. Oh yeah is you’re gonna love me is a sirens outtake?
  3. https://www.nme.com/news/music/lana-del-rey-167-1282763 earliest mention of a follow up/deluxe edition of born to die… wondered what phase paradise was on dec 2011-jan 2012 then
  4. Have been listening to this composition lately throughout July and I have to say- it reminds me of Nick Cave’s works. Lana has waves of reminiscing Cave’s writing but her songs in 2011 really do quite mirrors Cave’s works. Love2
  5. She’s performed once there for a radio station. Oct 24-25 2012
  6. Yeah white dress but more of a present time take 👍
  7. Imagine a song of her experience on waffles house… for the record though… someone totally new that Lana would b comfortable working with. Tired of Rick Nowels and Jack i’m sorry they both are fine but that’s that… to me.
  8. I was meaning to say Vangelis early 70s records… and those early 70s works aren’t piano ballads. His works is more reminiscent of Lana’s atmospheric spacier tunes (serene queen, lfl demo, heroin, 13 beaches, lfl album original concept, terrence). That’s what I meant! Compositions of songs that revolve around space and intergalactic setting
  9. Ocean is death to Lana. Let’s dance by the ocean - we shall dance till we die
  10. That 2005 screenshot… very cool as we know she signed up on 24/2/06
  11. Does anyone else thinks Norman title track is of about Barrie? edit: nvm
  12. More Weight (only on Soundcloud as of now) they are a noise rock band (kind of Deftones but louder)
  13. It’s just you and The Sun now… Lana who has achieved knowledge of her Higher Self like in Say Yes to Heaven (more blunt composition of You & Me) is really calls on ourselves, her kids, her Man that is The Darkness as she said as well in My bedroom to come to and abide her. The Goddess. Lana herself is The Sun. As she has foreseen The World as unruly and a mayhem. In that staleness- they met to where they shall have belonged to their lifetimes. Tropico static ending. Ekev. We all shall see the good in everything as chaos is no more than a mere imagery of illusions. Get Free. Her unending softness. God’s light!
  14. I love when you can tell how Lana writes a song according to the flow/letting her imagination stream unconsciously through the tips of the pen throughout the verses to the chorus there are lana songs that i feel like she was writing upon enforcement. “this is all a verse… too structured. how should i make a chorus?” But this is one of her few compositions of which i just can see/feel that she naturally writes it. Raw- instead having the need to make it so structured. I was also thinking of born to die title track when i commented about naturally writing (it flows and matches from verse 1 to last chorus)
  15. The medley sounds like something of a Lana x Barrie song woah
  16. Oh fuck! That soundcheck was one of the most beautiful I’ve heard of Lana! Not a big fan of medleys sometimes but this one is an another different. The melody kind of makes me think of Thom Yorke’s solo later works
  17. What’s the first song was she playing in that rehearsal video? A made-up-on-the-spot? Nvm. Arcadia. Woah the rehearsal is 10000x better than the song itself and i love the official arcadia even.
  18. When i was typing that comment- i was thinking of when someone reported she was rehearsing angels forever but didn’t do it on the STAGE stage
