But if you check the "sources" on Wikipedia linked to LIB on the HM page, none of them say anything about it being on the new album; just that it's a new song. It could be on the album, but be weary.
Either way, we know it's either for the soundtrack, or Honeymoon. Chances are since it's absent from the soundtrack tracklist, it may be for Honeymoon. It's all mere speculation at this point
-
ANYWAY (going back to topic), at least we know it's probably 50.9 % chance it'll be on Honeymoon (I trust Wikipedia) or at least released in May

Trailers use music exclusively quite frequently, but it's usually pre-released material. I think they probably just contacted Lana and asked her to contribute, so she gave them a reworked unreleased song that was vaguely reminiscent of the material.
I refuse to believe that she debuted a HM track in the Age of Adaline trailer.
But it's possible. Remember West Coast was released around the same time last year for Ultraviolence. Even though none of her album songs were exclusively released for movies, given Lana's collaboration with past movies maybe this can be on Honeymoon. However, since Honeymoon's probably slated for release in late summer (mid-July maybe xD),it would be too early for a song to be released.
But it's just what I think
-
I don't get the point of releasing this song to promote the movie if it isn't even on the soundtrack
Who know's maybe it's hidden or region exclusive, but it has to come out either way
-
Honestly, I like the song and if this is possibly what we could see in Honeymoon, then yay. Though it's weird tht it isn't on the soundtrack (or even the score). But we know it's coming out VERY soon

I think Honeymoon could be a combination of BTD and UV. I'm not sure how it'll work out like that, but given UV's positive reception. But then again, Honeymoon could be a totally new direction. Her relationships with Barrie and Francesco are obviously going to influence this album, maybe (lie, PROBABLY) for the somber UV mood or the light, cheerful BTD (maybe even the vibe from Lana Del Ray).
But I'm pretty optimistic for Honeymoon and Endless Summer Tour. I'm just hoping she'll come to NYC or somewhere around it.
