Tbh, other great female collaboration I really liked (can't talk for everyone else tho) was Hey Girl by Lady Gaga and Florence Welch and I was thinking earlier "wow, BPBP is so good, Hey Girl was so good too but there's no comparison, Florence is good, Lady G is good but Stevie Nicks is a legend", I'm pretty sure they both wish to be able to have a collab with her, even if it's just her helping them write a little verse on a song just to say "hey, I made a track with the witch queen Stevie Nicks"... I got the chills when I heard their voices together

Lust For Life - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
WhiteHydrangea replied to Elle's topic in Post-Release Threads
This is really a thought out album, what I really liked the most was the clear narrative and the fact that she was so open in the interviews about what the album really was about, which made it all a lot more clearer. What an interesting record, to see Lana grow it's so fascinating, makes me wanna grow too. My favorites are Heroin, Get Free, Change, God Bless America - And All The Beautiful Women In It, Beautiful People Beautiful Problems, man I love them all, but I must say my least favorite is White Mustang. Also, Coachella - Woodstock In My Mind fits SO GOOD on the album, damn, it flows so well, ugh. I hope she does them all live at some point, I don't get why she said in the Livestream she was sabotaging herself by playing those songs in the listening party, Dear Lana, those songs are diamonds, be proud of them, we love them, you love them, play them to us. Something to really thank Lana about is for bringing good-full-of-lyrics choruses back, I love Honeymoon and Ultraviolence but man, I just realized I really did miss the complex choruses of Born To Die and Paradise. -
LYRICAL MASTERPIECE. HOLY FUCK DID SHE JUST REALLY REFERENCE ALL OF HER STRUGGLES A LA RIDE AGAIN? Perfect album closer, it's as she said, a talk of inner clarity and the hopes for finally getting to the place she wants to reach in Yosemite This verses, I have so much to think about... So many little details, makes me wanna write an essay about this, ugh

Stevie Nicks voice sounds so good, I love this song, it's one of my favorite on the record, it exceeded my expectactions, it's everything I wanted a Lana collaboration to be. I really really love the verses

Rick Nowel's comment in the lyric page of Lust For Life on Genius about the early version of the song "The original “Lust For Life” is a beautiful art song, it’s quite touching. Maybe someday Lana will release it. We did a rewrite of it during the making of the album. It turned out great and It was a thrill to have The Weeknd and Lana singing together."

I'm just going to chill at my house after going to school, but I'm not sure if I should listen to it the first time with headphones or with my computer's speakers -

Best thing she's done in the last four years, great interview, she finally addresses all the controversies she's had since 2012 and clarifies her personal issues and lyrics. It's shocking for me to have her finally admit that Ultraviolence, both the song and the record, are that autobiographical. Never looking to Honeymoon and Ultraviolence the same way after this interview, I mean, I know she said they were autobiographical but she used to defend it by saying the lyrics were also part of her imaginary... This is the most human she's been portrayed in a long while, I hope the fans that read this interview finally realize Lana's not a goddess to be praised eargerly -

Lust For Life - Pre-Release Thread

She put out the wrong version on youtube, the youtube version seems to be an early one https://www.instagram.com/p/BU2zP7LFQHp/?taken-by=lanadelrey -
She changed her state of mind about having them on the record as time passed by and she started to go out more and started to interact more with other people and let other artists participate on the record, she said Yosemite was just too happy, she thought she was finally on that ideal state of mind but realized she just wasn't there yet so she cut it out. As for Architecture she said it was about Topanga, about this state of going back to the nature but then realized she just wasn't there anymore so she scrapped it too. When asked by Zane if she would do something with both songs (and other two songs that were also scrapped from the final cut) she said she would do something with them, that's it... but she's probably not going to do anything with them tbh
