For me, I think "Without You" and "Wildest Dreams" are a lot more similar. Like if I were to judge it, "Speak Now" is what happens when a song uses a common chord progression but not necessarily being heavily inspired or influenced with a song of a similar structure. Whereas "Wildest Dreams" is what happens when a song is clearly influenced by a previous song (such as "Without You") because even if you discount the similarities in chord progression, Taylor's delivery in the chorus is really similar to Lana's prior. Plus "Wildest Dreams" doesn't really sound like a lot of Taylor's usual output at that point, so the influence is very apparent imo.

I still think that they should have used Britney during the Glory era if they're gonna use previous photos. Like it's nothing unusual for artists reusing old photos, but to use a photo literally two decades old is kinda ridiculous regardless whether or not there's something nefarious involved. Anyway, music deal contracts usually obligate an artist to produce X amount of albums. Does anyone here know how that works for Britney? Because even if she doesn't wanna release music, if she still has some remaining albums left in her music contract, she's gonna have to release something eventually.

"Sex Talk" and "Thousand Pieces" both being the least streamed songs from FTB makes sense to me. I think she has better outtakes that could have replaced those two.

I saw on her website that there's an alternate vinyl album cover where she's completely topless. Serving complete cunt tbh. Hope this era goes well for her. On a sidenote, I hope she releases a signed physical album for pre-order at some point. I am such a sucker for signed physical CDs.

Idk I feel like both sides probably has a grain of truth to it. We still don't really know how much control she has right now regarding her releases post-2021 but at the same time I don't really buy the "AI is replacing Britney" conspiracy theory. I feel like the song is just bad (and Myah-coded) specifically because of will.i.am and how it's an outtake from Britney Jean where they pulled that crap in the first place. So while it's skeevy, I don't think it's as nefarious as most would think like it's probably more of a cash grab from will.i.am more than anything. As for the Vogue article...I get why some people are off about it like it's a different thing when it's typed vs when it's a transcript of an actual interview with video. At the end of the day, you really can't blame people for not really trusting anything outside of stuff coming out of Britney's mouth in live video form given how much she (and her fanbase) were manipulated heavily for more than a decade.

I kinda don't like her album cover. It works for a single cover but I don't think it's drawing me enough for me to consider it as a good album cover. I think it's because she's looking away and her back is literally facing us.

It's shaping up to be at least a moderate hit I'm afraid. Literally just relying on Britney's name power.

I would like an experimental Lana album where she tackles a genre so far from her discography such as a pure pop album, a country album, a disco album or even a pop-rock album. Her perspective is so unique that I know she's gonna create something groundbreaking if she does something like that.

People who classify specific types of music as inferior are pretentious and punchable. There's just as much effort and creativity involved in making a dance bop as it is to make a piano ballad. I always roll my eyes whenever I see people who comment on music tastes pointing out how they should have "outgrown" it by now.

Miss Belladonna is such a serve! So good! Wasn't the biggest fan of Out of Time but this one got me hooked.

I think this is more of a will.i.am release than Britney's. I think the biggest indicator for Britney coming back is if she releases something solo post-2021. So far it's all collabs so I don't think that's an indication for her comeback.

I wonder how well this song will do? It's complete trash and a total earsore, but the GP might end up liking it. Scream and Shout was also trash but GP liked it a lot. I guess the most outrageous thing about the song for is that will.i.am ended up sounding the best in contrast to Myah and Britney. I kinda like his verses in the song and I hate that about it.

While people consider Sims 2 as the peak of the franchise, I think Sims 3 was by far the most innovative. Unfortunately, that's also when EA started to milk the franchise more severely. Sims 4 sucks and I will always say that it is a huge regression from Sims 3. With the rumors about Sims 5 not being so hot, I think Sims 3 is probably the last Sims game I'll ever enjoy playing.

It sucks that she isn't being given a lot of budget to work with for this era (allegedly). But even so, she is able to pull off opulence in her visuals so far even without the said budget. I'm really hoping this era goes well for her.

Rush is so addicting! I'm excited to hear how the whole album is gonna sound like.

I feel like he likes Britney as a person but he doesn't respect her much as an artist (neither does he have much self-respect as an artist tbh). No self-respecting artist will include this travesty in their discography.
