I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the witchy nature of Cherry. Rosemary is one of the staple ingredients in witch spells. To me, it seems like she is listing a bunch of ingredients she's using in a spell. Guess we'll have to wait and see what the song is really about but it's definitely giving me witchy vibes from the lyrics.

anyway Cherry sounds like the best song from LFL and there's absolutely no debating it. It's giving me a mix of Serial Killer, Freak and Summertime Sadness vibes

Do they have an album out yet? I listened to one of their songs (can't remember which one now) and it was really good and I'd love to hear their other stuff. Where do I start?

I like the tracklist. It's very classy and sophisticated and the words used are quite intriguing, like The Louvre - I'm interested to see what she has to say in this song. Yeah, it would have been nice if there were more songs (and less interludes) but at least we are getting something from her at all. Lana could take a few notes

Waiting for MATD4 while the family jewels have gone missing, Electra Heart is dead, the froot has gone rotten and the unreleased bucket is still pretty empty (Obviously I love her but I mean there's only so many times I can replay the same songs over and over again, and when compared to other artists, we really don't have that much material from Marina yet).

Am I the only one that actually loves the idea of the 13 Beaches song? It's a creative concept and it's nice to have a song that's a bit of a break from her normal lyrical tropes. I'd love to hear her perspective on how it is to live your life being followed by paparazzi everywhere, so much that it takes 13 outings to different beaches to not be noticed. The concept sounds interesting to me and at least it isn't as ugly and tacky as the "Coachella - Woodstock in my Mind" title

this was an amazing interview - very thoughtful comments from Lana and interesting and insightful questions asked by the interview. The shoot is also AMAZING - definitely one of her best ever! If I didn't know Lana, I would have assumed this was literally shot decades ago. AMAZING WORK LANA!

I have to say, I was going to be extremely confused if Coachella did make it onto the album, since I'm assuming they would have already pressed a bunch of the albums and printed out booklets/cover sheets and so on. It wasn't realistic for it to make the album this late around anyway. The more I listen to it, though, the more that I can bear it and sort of enjoy it, especially now that I know it's just something extra on the side Lana wanted to give us rather than an actual album song. The intention behind it seems very genuine and it gives off a very positive vibe which I love, but overall the execution and the production is rather sub-par. I'm not sure what to expect with the album at this point. Love is an amazing song but sonically it's quite "safe" and nothing really that new melodically. Lust For Life is certainly a change of direction, but unfortunately I'm not quite sure it was exactly the "right" direction. Still, it's a nice song. Abel's voice certainly complements Lana's, but overall the song is nothing out of this world. I have listened to it a lot already but it's probably my least favorite title track from her releases so far (yes, even the slow Honeymoon title track is much more beautiful and enjoyable to me). I actually like BAR the most out of the songs we've heard so far, so I'm really hoping it makes the album. I've tried not to overplay it too much since the album isn't out and we weren't really meant to hear it yet, plus I feel as if I might get sick of it by the time we get the full album. Also, if it has a slightly different production then I might end up suffering from Black Beauty Syndrome and end up not enjoying the final version as much as the demo since I'd replayed it so much. So far, my ranking is: BAR > Love > LFL > C-WIMM (if we're counting that as a legitimate song from this era).

I feel terrible because this is probably the first song Lana has ever released that I am struggling to find something I enjoy. The title is UGLY. Can't believe she would phrase it like that. The production is an absolute mess and her vocals are extremely off at the start of the song. Some of the lyrics are alright but most of it it is a big mess. I'm so sad. I want to enjoy it but I just can't. It sounds like a Dua Lipa outtake

Not going to lie, this might just be the worst song in her entire released discography. Somebody pinch me, this must be a dream. Lana would never put such a messy track on her album
