Based on what the local news is saying, the high in Boston on Thursday is going to be 96 degrees. For those getting there on the early side, Fenway has very few covered seats... only the grandstand. Please, be safe. That kind of sun and heat can f you up in a hurry.

This is very near downtown Boston. There's more residence and colleges in the neighborhood than downtown, but police are not going to let you camp anywhere. It would be like wanting to camp in Manhattan. You're probably 30-45 mins. minimum from any legit camping.

Figure 40K tickets at an average of $300 = $12 million (conservative)
Figure each fan spends $50 on food or merch = $2 million (conservative)
Figure the average for travel is $200 for each fan = $8 million (conservative)
For $22 million -- probably closer to $30 million -- being spent, they're not going to cancel the concert because of heat.
Also remember, once the sun goes down, the temperature will drop as Boston is right on the water.
