    this song is such a strange mix between sounding like a movie song, and something that is purely Lana. it's so unique. i feel like i'm on top of the world when listening to it.

     

    i'm in a tiny NYC apartment reflecting on my relationship and cheating boyfriend, but in the reflection of all mirrors and windows, it looks like i'm hurtling through space and i can see all the planets very clearly.

    this is the first time i've heard the demo, so thank you for introducing me to it!

     

    this version is so much more psychedelic. mermaid motel makes me feel like a stripper who lives in a motel with her drug dealer boyfriend who's 30 years older. but this demo makes me feel like that, except they're both on 10 times more drugs. and everything is tinted purple.

    i've been following her for a few months, and i'm so glad to see how she's grown. charli xcx is honestly a saint for giving exposure to this talented artist! the songs 'fake gucci' & 'back2u' from her new mixtaoe have really showcased some of her versatility as an artist, i just wish she had more diversity in her production.

    I really wanna see her live! my problem I live in Philadelphia, the concert is in NYC, it's 18+ and i'm only 17 :flop: should I wait for more dates or take my chances and go?

    i mean... i heard a radio quality version so i can't fully judge. it'll take time for me to like it, but she's my fave and i will love it in the end, so oh well!
