  11. I was just listening to White Dress and Sweet Carolina played right after and I realized that those two songs represent Lana’s journey from Lizzy to now it’s kinda crazy. I hope the opening track of LDR9 doesn’t disappoint
  12. I’m from SF so if this is true I think I might actually cry…shameless photography plug in but I hope the vibes match this SF is a wonderful, picturesque and somewhat nautical city with a 60/70s charm that I’ve been wanting her to visit for so long. She can sing about so many things, classic rock, Summer of Love, Haight Ashbury, The Presidio, etc. Venice Bitch MV also has clips of SF (the one in my signature) so I am so fearful for my sanity if she returns to SF. It’s been mentioned in LA Who Am I To Love You and DTWD, but a whole album I feel like this might just be one of Rob’s random posts but what if <33
  13. is there a market for trishy edit: wait jk i jsut saw it lol <3
  14. the electric guitar in white dress still remains sublime it’s like an improved HIAB and I hope she releases more songs that combine piano and guitar so flawlessly
  15. I feel indifferent with Jack. I've wanted a VB 2.0 from them since its release but I don't see it coming anytime soon (or ever). I consider it a career high in the likes of Video Games and West Coast. She hasn't made a 2.0 for those either and I'm not really sure if she wants to. That's what makes them special though. Jack is also quite unpredictable, songs like Amoeba by Clairo have straight up boogie/funk moments in while his latest song with Florence is straight up alt rock and even some post punk. I think the safest guess would be something like the Blue Bannisters title track as I'm pretty sure that's one of the more recent songs she wrote on the album. I don't see her leaving the COCC/BB sound anytime soon.
  16. I’ve never understood this I remember when the ‘Bartender’ snippet was released on Chucks story before we even knew about NFR, people were already like “Not another piano ballad!!” even though I’m pretty sure ‘Change’ was the only one we had at that point. 3-4 of 14 songs on NFR are piano ballads and 2 of them are produced by Rick, but a lot of the piano songs on it are accompanied with other instruments for a piano rock feeling. I feel like COCC had a bit more piano though WD is her best piano ballad by far imo, and I hardly think the title track is boring. For Free isn’t even her own song so I can’t even comment on that but I do prefer its instrumentation more than the original. I think BB is a bit similar with NFR with piano that accompanies its songs’ main instrumentation rather than being straight up piano ballads. I think as she’s getting older and having more experience with writing songs, she’s appreciating piano based songs more and more and is getting better at writing them, which is only natural. LFL was one of the first piano-y albums she had and that’s still pretty recent in her discography compared to others.
  17. This gives me ‘Honeysnooze’ flashbacks
  18. Black Rabbit is a theater in Hollywood this seems like such a random lyric criticism
  19. can’t wait to see them at primavera
  20. LOL I love it I definitely can see it, NFR single covers was her selfie era for sure. wouldn't be surprised if this was some random gadget store in Venice/Santa Monica (judging by the Bird scooter it most likely is!) which makes it even cuter. i am satisfied with the official cover though
