There are no rules to songwriting! Everybody's process is different. Usually though the featured artist will write their own verse and see what the original artist thinks and make tweaks depending on what the original artist (and their team) gives for feedback.

If we're not in the UK, is there anything we can do to help contribute to it charting there? Song is bottom of her discography for me meaning it is fine but nothing crazy but I would LOVE for her to see some success

Very much giving PWIC vibes but less dark. Love the fact that we’re getting spacey reversed out Lana over guitar I don’t see why percussion coming in but it would be a pleasant surprise if it makes an appearance in the second half of the song. @lustforlife any percussion that you know of?

American Life is so underrated, my personal favorite at the moment. The production on the album is so crisp and satisfying, especially on her vocals.

Living for this concept tbh... I want her to give glamorous junkie who smells like cigarettes and grenadine

Perhaps something like Is This Desire? by PJ Harvey? A more raw, textured project that can gather a wide range of musical influences under a colorful but cohesive umbrella of sound

You should try the Call Him A Doctor EP. Mr. E, You Don’t, and Heaven are pretty straight forward structure wise and feel more in line with Charli and SOPHIE. Also, Hard King and Kook’s Song from her new album

Player of Games is not very good pretty generic and just not interesting. This album seems more in line with Violence which isn't really for me

Faeree Soiree and Tunnel Vison super bland production wise too what is going on. It's like sonically things have moved backwards. Her debut EP was great, CB was very good, and everything else since is so sub par. Hopefully she scraps this all and finds better producers who can help her develop a more intriguing, distinctive sound because right now the only thing carrying these songs is her delivery

Listening to everything now. Definitely better than K-12 strictly for the fact this album seems to have melodies that don't sound improvised on the spot. Sirens is cute albeit a little tacky sounding and 2015'd, Leeches is cute but I wish it had stronger tune, Fingers Crossed is bland and sounds cheap although the outro is cute. Hoping the rest is better than these

She needs to stop doing drugs and get help. If she isn't on drugs, she just needs mental help. Rooting for her but I'm kind of done doing mental gymnastics to justify her actions.
