But it's rumored that "win some lose some" turned into "why do you love me" (which clearly it did I'm kinda sure now)

And "why do you love me" was released in July 2019 so that means "win some lose some" was recorded/written before Charlotte's release date

So some things and lyrics don't make any sense and that's what I'm wondering

It's kind of a mess sonically, but if arranged properly or by EPs, it works wonders. A lot could've been done with the bunch.

About Win Some Lose Some, it probably could've been written by the time y'all have mentioned, but maybe it was repurposed for Plastic Hearts (like Golden G String, Never Be Me and Bad Karma) and that's why 1) the version we have is sonically similar to Plastic Hearts, and 2) there are those lyrical allusions to Stella etc. It would be easier to tell probably if we knew for sure a writing/recording date or the certainty that there's an earlier version of it (like GGS, NBM and BK). Just speculations.
