Manueldelrey Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 The version released is HD? It sounds a little LQ to me..... 0 Quote
pinupgirls Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I think it was made to sound this way. It provides an older sound similar to the original, but also adds a sense of mystery to it. It sounds eerie. 0 Quote
mermaid motel Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 It sounded better in the trailer, so I'm sure a better quality version exists. Hopefully when it's released on iTunes. 0 Quote
lflflflflflflflflflf Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 The version released is HD? It sounds a little LQ to me..... Google Play's version is at 320kbps which is highest quality that an MP3 can get. Reuploaded here since it was free anyway: http://d.pr/a/lBRp If you downloaded a ripped version off the internet, it could be unclear what sort of quality it could be because it could possibly be resampled multiple times when it's uploaded as a stream (for example, all tracks on Soundcloud are crushed to 128kbps). It's best to get it straight from Google. You need to enter your card details though, which is why I reuploaded the file (in its original quality) in the first place- to save people the hassle. I don't think the actual track is low quality at all- but there is definitely a distinctive 'texture' to the song to make it sound older. The only fault I can find with the song is that the string instruments aren't real. Just like Y&B, since it's for a soundtrack there's going to be multiple variations of this song heard throughout the movie. 3 Quote
butterflies Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 It's because of her vocal. They played with EQ and they wanted "warm" sound. It sounds like filtered or recorded with old phone. Acapella.amr Pray for better quality 1 Quote
