Sir Taurean 43 Posted April 20, 2014 As I was walking into the show Bang Bang was playing and it was indeed Nancy Sinatra not a Lana version as some are saying.
evilentity 13,341 Posted April 20, 2014 http://youtu.be/eCAtA7Csm60 Absolutely Nancy's version (thanks MissChris325 for posting/recording) Yeah, definitely Nancy. Damn. Fade Into You 2.0 1 Quote Stalking you has sorta become like my occupation.

ilovetati 15,297 Posted April 20, 2014 Fade Into You 2.0 That makes me realize how young most of this fanbase is.

Sir Taurean 43 Posted April 21, 2014 That makes me realize how young most of this fanbase is. I realized that just looking at everyone at the show. Majority was 85% young high school girls to me. But I am 27 so what do I know LMAO.
buster 152 Posted April 21, 2014 Recapped my experience if anyone is interested http://lanaboards.com/index.php?/blog/108/entry-478-lana-in-sf/ Noticed you mentioned "Everything happens on the left side (her right). Idk why, but she clearly favors that side. That's where Rob is at, where she is most, other than the center, and interacts with people." I noticed that she spent her time on the right side (her left.) wonder id it was just Coachella or she just decided to visit that side only. Still, I think you are right about the left side (her right.) thanks for sharing your review.
conandelrey 5 Posted April 21, 2014 I realized that just looking at everyone at the show. Majority was 85% young high school girls to me. But I am 27 so what do I know LMAO. I'm 24 but I can probably pass for a high school student. Yeahhh a lot of underaged girls at the show. Which is fine as long as you're not bothering me. All the screaming, pushing, pettyness towards the front half of the floor was quite distracting. I should have been my grandma self and sat in seats. But who knew how "ratchet" things can get at a Lana Del Rey show...OF ALL THINGS. At least I got a picture with Rob Grant (meeting Lana ain't gonna happen) and a good look at how stunning she is in person. Also, Can some ID that dress? I can't pull off that dress, just want to know where it's from.

Happy I had my moments where it seemed it was only Lana and I in the building and not all the wild Banshees that surrounded us. Haha. Had a wonderful time! She did look drop dead gorgeous in that white dress though!
comeintomybedroom 8,648 Posted April 22, 2014 I got to the front row like a minute into Gods And Monsters. I SWORE I heard Lana's voice! I guess I must've been off 'cause of the noise.
neuf 197 Posted April 22, 2014 I think she favors the right because there's a bit more energy on that side with the guitar. But I do agree. I think we missed the high synth on "West Coast" because the band just doesn't have it. The guy seemed behind a baby grand but I kind of figured it might be retrofitted with a MIDI controller with Logic/Ableton off-stage. If that's the case, there's no excuse. I did miss it as well though I'm a few years older than 24, but I had a good time. A lot of the girls were really nice to me (I went solo, everyone I know hates Lana) and I hung out with some nice people. I was in the middle of the fight and that was something else. Once it started, people just piled in but it broke up fairly quickly. Some people got into the fighting spirit right away but most people just stopped after a few minutes. Security escorted the girls out fairly quickly, so I think some people restrained themselves fairly quickly. It did last nearly the entire length of Y&B though. I've got a video of the shit talking in the background while Lana starts up the song. It was weird to see all the smaller girls wait and guard their front row spots then after the first 3-4 songs, people were haggardly coming out of the front row. I think after this album, she'll play somewhere bigger hopefully. I think the Fox is bigger but Oakland isn't as cool as SF. There's always the Oracle arena... I thought it was kind of sweet how Lana said she didn't deserve it but she'll take it anyway. It's hard to find the line between schtick and sincerity with her a lot (don't get me wrong, the shtick is fun though) but that seemed a bit more sincere to me. I wish she liked the Bay more. It seems up her alley in terms of history and stuff. I can't imagine how QOTSA sounded the night before in that venue. It's just terrible for rock music. Anything more synth-based (I've seen some EDM, Hip Hop, and Pop there) all have been good though.

Anything more synth-based (I've seen some EDM, Hip Hop, and Pop there) all have been good though. I've been to several rave shows at BG and they were not bad, saw Kylie there too wasn't bad. But the sound for Lana wasn't the best, but I couldn't help but think it was cause of all the overly excited girls singing all the songs and screaming. But it was great. Perhaps her shows are more of a Reserved Seating experience rather then General Admission.
Rayse 658 Posted April 23, 2014 I thought this was funny as hell lol "I got further, and when I say further I mean way further, like, I bathed in Lana's, um, holy light."
