Ziad Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 I really hope she performs Ultraviolence there I really wanna hear that song in a setting like Maida Vale I can already imagine myself ripping the audio (or buying it if there's an option for that) and finding a pretty artwork picture to add to my Lanabrary (excuse my bad puns)... 0 Quote
FROGGO Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 It's actually a cover by a band called Kasabian, but this and her version of Blue Velvet are heavenly I know that, but it's still my favourite Lana song.... 1 Quote you're so art froggo, out on the pond…
HelixSpirals Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 I can already imagine myself ripping the audio (or buying it if there's an option for that) and finding a pretty artwork picture to add to my Lanabrary (excuse my bad puns)... I'd do the same A version of Ultraviolence like that needs to grace my Studio Sessions album 1 Quote
mermaid motel Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Praying this doesn't get cancelled like the rest (letterman and her show at the roxy) 1 Quote
Mind Melt Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Yes seriously will somebody be recording this?Who knows what she'll sing. I'm assuming it's gonna be entirely UV, so probably UV, WC, SOC, BRBA and maybe something else? Idk how many songs do Maida Vale sessions usually contain? 0 Quote
HEARTCORE Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 Again, going by Sky Ferreira's session, she did around 4 songs and they were all stremable online. 0 Quote
Thunder Revenant Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Ultraviolence, West Coast, perhaps Brooklyn Baby and maybe one older song, like Summertime Sadness, Video Games, Born To Die, Blue Jeans, Ride, Young & Beautiful ... 0 Quote Just do it. Just do it - don't wait!
Harlem Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Is there still no date anywhere for this? ; _ ; 0 Quote
lafleursauvage Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Hmmm judging from the BTD album - that was released ~ Jan 27 and she did the BBC Radio 1 sessions on Jan 22. So... I'm guessing bbc will release the date pretty soon. Give it a few more days i'd say 1 Quote
prostitutestare Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Mother Lana better brush up on those live vocals, though to be honest, from what I have heard, she usually gives a pure vocal in intimate, studio settings. She allows herself to really become one with the songs she is singing because she seems more comfortabld. I need a sultry "Ultraviolence" and SoC vocal performance! 0 Quote
lafleursauvage Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I saw her in concert on May 13 and she was honestly great live!!! And her last BBC sessions, she did amazing, so I don't have any doubts this time around 0 Quote
cadmus2166 Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 It's on BBC Radio 1's schedule for 7pm local time, Wednesday, June 18th. Can't wait! 0 Quote
