A Netflix original show, 2nd season now available.

Starring Famke Janssen, Bill Skarsgard (Yes, Eric from True Blood's little brother)

I like (love) it, it gives me a lot of Twin Peaks vibes- (if twin Peaks were made now, I think it would be very similar in terms of content)

I created this topic to just express my WTF at the season 2 finale, What did everyone else think?

Update: okay so I binged watched season 2 and it was...interesting. The story got very confusing, though.

Also in the beginning of this season, I didn't like how cold and distant Roman had become, but I think he warmed up towards the end.

One thing that kinda pissed me off was the atrocious CGI but I can get past that. I'm gonna watch season 3 now (apparently it's not good but I'm gonna watch it anyway lol).

I watched season 3 and it was very tough to get through. Things got complicated and there was too much going on.

Overall, season 1 was actually pretty decent. I love it.

Season 2 was meh at best, Miranda was an absolute headache but still bearable.

Season 3 was just...bad. The original characters were just completely different by the end of it, and it made me pretty sad.

Hemlock Grove could've been a very good show if there were minimal writers. But by the end of it, it was an absolute clusterfuck. It's a shame because I adore the aesthetic and the entire history of Upirs and Dr.Pryce's experiments. I believe season 1 was based solely on the book by Brian McGreevy, that's why the later seasons didn't make sense because the writers were making shit up.

Agreed with all ^

1 was really fun but 2 and especially 3 were a chore to get through. I did read the book but that was before the show came out so I can't really comment on that. I did only watch for Bill so it wasn't a total waste of time :delicious:
