'Big Eyes' and 'I Can Fly' Released, Featured in Tim Burton's 'Big Eyes'

After listening to it a few times I'm doubting that "With your big eyes/and your big lies" is the entire chorus. 

 

 

Proven wrong, unfortunately.

 

I feel bad because I feel like I've complained a lot, but yeah the song is underwhelming. I was hoping for something with more grandeur but they said the song fits the movie perfectly and that is what matters. Maybe I'll feel differently when I can have it super loud in my car and really hear all the little parts.

Wow, it's gorgeous. I love how the song grows as the character's emotions becomes increasingly volatile/vulnerable and then explode in the final chorus. 

 

Her vocals are incredible.

First of all, these songs are quite different for Dalai....esp lyrically.

 

They are both empowering. 

 

It feels strong and independant compared the lyrics on UV and BTD.

I Can Fly reminds me of Angels Forever a bit. The composition is better than Big eyes, it has a more clear structure - however i prefer Big Eyes to it.
