As a producer, no. Just like with Heath, I miss some edge to it. That's why she will always have to reach out for somebody else, I guess. Say about Haynie and his one trick loon whatever you want, but at least his production has some edge. Auerbach knows how to create an atmosphere, while Nowels is just bland, imo. 1

I don't want to give myself expectations because then I'd just be disappointed. 2

If by "Isn't as dark" you mean songs like American I could be down for it But I really want songs with dark undertones, she does that better than anyone, it's cold yet elegant and calm.
