Pretend Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Rainbow Chan is a Sydney-based artist who self-writes and produces her own brand of innovative pop, infusing her Hong Kong background with left-of-centre beats and elements of Japanese electronic music and R&B. To date, she has released a number of standalone singles and 2013's Long Vacation EP, and is now preparing to release her debut album Spacings on 26th August. Three singles have been released so far from the project: Nest, Last and Work. If you're a fan of the likes of Grimes, Jessy Lanza and Shura you'll probably like Rainbow as well (she's closer to the former two sonically but is fairly accessible too). 1 Quote

Hopefully the album will get a few reviews once it comes out but I'm not getting my hopes up; it seems like most of the good Australian artists are being ignored tbh 1 Quote
