Are you sure? On Spotify it is listed as I Went Too Far - MK Remix / Radio Version Neal, can you link the radio edit so I know which one you are referencing specifically?

For anyone who wants every Aurora interview you can find it here, it is updated monthly. Look for something you haven't read/watched yet. https://www.reddit.com/r/auroramusic/comments/4ujvu7/all_aurora_interviews_updated_monthly

The MK Remix is also the radio edit. It's actually very different from the original. A few seconds after this time the quarter notes turn into eighths on the drum beat and I think the frequency is raised, that could be mistaken for a typewriter: https://youtu.be/YnzAV1nWky0?t=84

Well he might actually be on to something. Depending on what type of headphones you are wearing different sounds come through, treble or bass, etc; expensive headphones emit higher frequencies and hear higher sounds. Aurora has recorded all sorts of "field" sounds onto the album that are either quiet or completely inaudible: Dry leaves, stick across a chainlink fence, and her hugging a tree being few of them.[1] Not to mention she has been questioned on the subject of writing "the perfect song" which she said would consist of constant tweaking. There is a chance the radio edit has different noises that would be updated and distinct from the original version because she modified it. Does anyone have an actual link to the radio edit? It's good, but after a few listens I get drawn back in to Bowie's. Obviously nothing can beat his, but I think Aurora did a great job. Lorde's tribute with David's old band was the best I think. My favorite songs are: Lucky, Winter Bird, I Went Too Far.

Still very curious to see what kind of things she paints/draws. Hearing about morbid stuff made me grin. I can understand why she would feel insecure about it though.

I liked the one about waking up to her music, I've been waking up to Leonard Cohen's So Long Marianne as my alarm clock for the last couple of days; it is such a wonderful song. Finally get to interact with fans. In her place, I don't know how I'd feel about meeting someone I haven't even introduced myself to.

Fixed it! Yeah, I am. I found this thread on accident and it's very informative; thanks for creating it. Can't believe I didn't get the idea your personal twitter was Robin haha. Same name as you and everything. It's probably because you like and retweet the Robin account from AURORAsource, totally seemed separate to me. P.S Trying to go to the troubadour concert in L.A, dad says I've got a 1% chance!

I was going to think of something positive to say here but I can't change my avatar and Lana is staring into my soul. :-) Seems like an informative thread, looking forward to following it… Yeah.
