  1. Since I'm lazy to search in more than 10 pages what are the news, I will list what I've found about the interview:

    • Jack Antonoff made her feel inspired, thanks Jack!
    • Her agents were shitting themselves bc the song had 10 min
    • The album's name is "Norman Fucking Rockwell" (it looks nice, very different)
    • Bitch wants to pilot
    • 13 poems are ready for her new poem book, which is called "Violet bent backward over the grass"
    • The album has 11 songs and she wants to release another song on October!

    Did I missed something?

  4. I’m excited to hear the song in full! The snippet isn’t an instant wow like I had with MAC. I can tell I will most likely prefer MAC. It sounds very pretty, I love the lyrics juxtaposition to her sweet delivery. I really feel like I can hear Jack on this track more than MAC though. Production wise that is! Just reminds me a bit of some of the past people he’s worked with. There’s still another three to four minutes to hear though! Really looking forward to her talking with Zane too, I normally really enjoy his little interviews.

I agree with you, and like you said, there's still another three to four minutes to hear. I expected to enjoy MAC but I didn't saw its true form coming, the result was way better.

  5. i love the taylor swift's reference at the end of MAC lol

    jack did that

    loved it too

sometimes i even put RFI to play after MAC

    it was meant to be

about the whole happiness thing... Happiness, especially when you are 30 and up, does'nt mean that somebody is not sad anymore or is always a happy clown. Hell, we all have shit happening to us, shit that we can't control most of the time.  Happiness has more to do with being in peace with you are, with the good, the bad and the ugly of your past. You try to be a better person, but you accept your flaws as well. You also get that some of your past behaviors were toxic, and you try to get away from those as much as possible, and you own your life choices. Through your mistakes, your learned who you are, and you try to embrace that, and cultivate your uniqueness.

I believe Lana is in that space of mind as well. When she said that she was entering her blue period, I thought that she was entering a new chapter of her life, one where happy times and quiet times exist: she knows what she's good at, she knows who she can be with without compromising herself, she knows who she is. And she is always a bit melancholic. Not sad, but she likes to question her life and what is around her. MAC is a good example of that. There is a certain sadness to it for sure, but also a great burst of desire and love and dedication to that man. But she won't go to the extremes she went before, as to "deny herself" or let a guy walk all over her (like her previous early songs). Maybe this is the real change in her music.

But I don't expect her to sing empty lyrics like "I am so happy, so so happy, I smile and all". Happiness is a butterffly means, to me, that happy times can fly away fast, but can come back if you let them.

(sorry for the essay: I am so damn passionate about her lol)

I think she is on a state of CHILL

  6. ...lmao anyways

anyways life is tough for dog

I think it's because MAC isn't the lead single and I don't think a release for it was planned... Lana said herself that she didn't expect the song to be played on radio and that she just put it out for herself, so she probably saw an opportunity with the scrapped HIAB music video and made us a little visual. I'm expecting the real music videos to begin with Venice Bitch.

some friends of mine that are lana stans (not hard stans or aren't into social media) didn't even knew that she was releasing a song lmaoo im doing promo for this bitch for FREE

  7. Lol it's obviously not the lead single. 0 promo and Lana saying she never expected it to be played anywhere and just wanted it to be out there as she liked the track.

And as if putting Coachella on LFL instead of having it as a standalone single was not the most abstruse thing to do ever

i think that lana didn't wanted us thirsty so we won't be ruining her plans anymore by leaking her songs bc we were too thirsty for something else.........

  8. MAC is produced by Jack, she said the record is mostly produced by Jack and is coming early 2019.

Y'all are seriously reading too much into this.

Yes this is the lead single, Yes Venice Bitch is the second single, and yes, we will buy it regardless.

Lana isn't as abstruse as she used to be and only a few people are realizing that. I realized it as soon as she put Coachella on LFL.

    "what if"

can I even theorize about anything or is this forbidden in your forum lanaboards, this is a discussion thread, not "checked facts only"

  9. I definitely don't think he has it. I think it's locked up tight in Lionsgate's safe. I still dream of a day it's fully released though... I'm still befuddled as to why they never properly released it. I mean, they must know how rabid Lana's fans can be and how we become so peeved when we're teased with a song without ever receiving the full thing! It's like waving steak right in front of a dog's face and then eating it yourself. Surely they must be aware of this.

From personal experience, I can deal with people trolling me with steaks, it's far worse to live without listening the complete version of LIB. It would enlighten dog's life. No more steak trolling, baby!

i have a feeling that this would be another vanity project like Ultraviolence and Honeymoon, with just her and Jack being the main composers and producers  :defeated:

may god bless you and the whole world because this is MY DREAM
