    EXACTLY YES. i’ve been listening to it here & there while running errands all day & was trying to think of why it sounded so familiar to me!!

But those projects were ultimately disseminated to the masses...under her direction. And I believe the same will be true of her upcoming albums - but it’s futile to dismiss the legitimacy and the value of her work because you can’t twerk to it. If that’s not your style move on...but I seem to somehow always find a way to relate to it. Perhaps because we’re ~somewhat~ similar in age. But I rest in the fact that her lyricism stays true to herself. I find a lot of calm in this. Excuse my rant...it’s not very often I express my buried thoughts.
