The track having unexpected transitions ≠ being all over the place. I don't know if Sky wrote most of it but the lyrics are perfectly understandable and they match with the song's atmosphere and production

I guess only few people with exquisite taste can appreciate the masterpiece that Don't Forget is and that's absolutely fine

I'm sorry but I don't find any flaw on this track. It is a grower and the transitions might be unexpected, but that ain't a bad thing but a good one as it feels as an unique pop song. Also, lyrically is MORE powerful and great than DL if you actually compare each other

With that being said, with my first few listens of the leak, I remember being very confused with the song's structure. It's got a lot going on. It's probably going to be a running theme with some of the songs she's been sitting on for years and years. I like it, but it's a lot

Tbh I've boped to the leak sm that listening to the official release doesn't feel anything special, but this track is in fact amazing and I'm glad it's out

it's really not that bad - it doesn't pale to anything on sawayama besides chosen family but it's still cute and i really don't understand why people love to shit on it

yeah i also got disappointed when i found out bees & honey wasn't that funky-ish track showed on sawayama's making of but i still loved it since the first listen nnnn
