But some of you believe that this era will be epic.
Well, if you already have an iconic song like Cherry on the album, of course people think this era will become epic?

Is she actually mocking him?
His album cover was released on Twitter July 6th and her single cover was released July 13th. Maybe it's just a coincidence, There's no reason why she would mock him, he made that tweet just a few hours ago and I think they never had beef. They both did collabs with ASAP Rocky too.

"my best music album"
maybe commercial, or pophiphopindiealternative or whatever
just wait...
Uhm hunty, are you aware of the fact that this tweet is fake and that I edited it myself?

All of the singles from Lust for Life have been more streamed than Tyler's singles for his album, though. Love was streamed 58 million times, Lust for Life was streamed 43 million times, Coachella - Woodstock In My Mind six million times, Summer Bummer over one million times and Groupie Love almost one million times on Spotify. Boredom was just streamed 692,870 times, Who Dat Boy, 5 million times and 911 6 million times. Maybe his album will be somewhere in the Top 20.

Tyler has like four million followers on Twitter and Lana has six million followers, he has three million followers on Instagram and she has ten million. So Lust for Life is basically going to get more social media exposure, I guess? I don't think his album will be that succesful, though. I think he's not even that well-known too. Lana is known by a lot of people, even if they just know her from her hit single Video Games.

The metacritic score for Honeymoon is around seventy eight, so I predict that Lust for Life will be above that score. I notice that most of the mixed reviews of Honeymoon is that the album in their opinion is boring, played too safe, or expressively expressive-less music. Lust for Life is so much different, with songs like Coachella - Woodstock In My Mind and collabs with artists like ASAP Rocky and The Weeknd. And no offence, I love Melodrama, but if Melodrama by Lorde can get an metacritic score above ninety, Lust for Life might too. Or atleast somewhere between eighty and ninety.

You have low expectations for Lana?
No, I don't. I don't say I have low expactations for Lana, she's an amazing artist - but with every record I listen to I try to have an open mind and not to get fooled by my expectations. So I wouldn't say I have low or high expectations for her.

Laughing at people who called Honeymoon a lackluster, uhm, every song on Honeymoon are nice except Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood and the interlude. I'm sorry that you had high expectations.

Doesn’t she also sing that in Religion?
Queen of recycling references
Yes she did. I actually thought about reference as well.

I appreciate Lanaboards so much, everyone is posting the lyrics from the snippets. I can finally get hold of a nice Instagram name.

Shut the fuck up lmao. We have 12 other tracks to listen to. God y'all are so pessimistic
You shouldn't listen to those negative fans, they suck the life and positivity out of us.

This lying bitch. It sounds very dark. loves it
I don't know where but I was reading a theory somewhere that the concept (the album title) Lust for Life was sarcastic. Yosemite was taken off the album just for being too positive.

I stan Ultraviolence... hard. But now I truly think it won't longer be her best album
I was thinking about this as well, Ultraviolence is such a great album (although some songs are not that great, Money Power Glory for example.) but I definitely think this might become the best album she ever released. I was listening to Honeymoon the other day and while I love a lot of songs on that album, I think Lust for Life will end Honeymoon - hopefully she's not going on the same path just like Honeymoon and not releasing great music videos, like the Honeymoon music video. I think it would be great if she released a music video for Cherry.

They chose a good part of coachella for those snippets. It sounds so energetic and awesome in that mix
I always liked Coachella - Woodstock In My Mind but that part is good indeed. Sometimes songs are just a bit weird when you don't hear the whole album, I guess.

Oh my god, those snippets are great. And Coachella actually fits really well into this album. I can't wait to hear all the songs in full.

Was there an interview? Is there a link to that? How many versions of the songs are there?
There's an alternate version of Summer Bummer, the one that used to be on YouTube somewhere in this topic. You can listen to the full interview here.

I just wish that she would go on tour, really. I love her so much and I just want to see her perform in the Netherlands and witness her talent in real life. Hopefully she will get rid of that stage fright sooner or later.
