It’s insane how much I love this song. I was really expecting the worst based off the insta snippet but Henry is such a fresh breath of air. After the heaviness of the last 3 albums I feel like I’m rediscovering an old Lana that I forgot I was missing. I’m so excited for this album.

I love the theory that Lasso originally started as a metaphor for all the men she tried to rope in—getting close, pulling them toward her—only to end up hurt when they slipped away or let her down. Then, after getting married, the album evolved into something more grounded: the idea that the right person doesn’t need to be chased—they’ll stay. She’s been married about eight months now and seems to be spending a lot of time in the Bayou with Jeremy. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the newer songs reflect that—Southern Gothic vibes, please—and now the whole project is finally clicking into place. I think we’re in for something incredible.

The way she said she’s happy with how the album is “moving along” sounds like it is not finished. How long will it take to press vinyls??

Not saying you believe this account but after Lana’s recent IG reel saying the album is delayed along with a name change we can finally shut the door on these losers

I know her reputation with release dates is flimsy at best but I have a shred of hope this is still coming this summer. And before Henry came I was the biggest TRPWS-doesn’t-exist-truther. There a few things giving me hope: a high budget photoshoot with Neil is already in the can. We’ve seen two pictures so far and I bet more will be unveiled for Stagecoach. It also seems like the album cover has been chosen based off some of Neil’s friend’s comments on IG. She mentioned last August she wanted to rework the songs to be in her vision - which gave her plenty of time to rework arrangements, fully finish the album and send to vinyl plants for a summer release. Her team seems to have Stagecoach merch ready to go. Maybe they don’t want to overload fans with Stagecoach merch + vinyl variants + TRPWS merch all at once but rather spread it out. Budgeting queens She has been cooking for awhile so I’m remaining delusional that everything is packaged nicely behind the scenes and the rollout officially began this week. We’ll hopefully know more when / if she posts about Henry and Stagecoach.

Why do we think the album is delayed? Just because the press release doesn’t mention Henry is a part of an upcoming album? I neeeed a summer Lana album so I’m staying delusional.

Intuiting that this album is going to be Honeymoon’s younger sister. Some may say COCC is but she’s more like a second cousin by marriage.

I was prepared to be Henry’s biggest op but he is incredible I had the busiest workday but I’ve listened non-stop. Judging by the new Neil pic (stunning) and billboard in Palm Springs we might actually be in store for a tight album rollout.
