this is not true. she'd actually never performed the previously leaked version of Taxi live. the version she played on Zoom was the same one she's been playing live since its debut at the Exchange show in November 2016. The leaked version we had on XCX World is an early demo (I think from 2015?), and you can tell the difference by the post-choruses and the percussion. The demo (the one that leaked in September 2018) has the same percussion samples as the unreleased QT song "Baby Bubbles", and it doesn't have the "taxi for one" vocals, which are present in the final/zoom version and every live recording of her performing the track.

THE FUCKING SHADE AT UMRU I'M LIVING leak it so we can hear it better
-
Reminder, SOPHIE uses she/her pronouns exclusively.

The SOPHIE price thing is a bs rumor. SOPHIE's produced for a lot of smaller artists who aren't by any means loaded with money.

Dreamer vs Backseat 3AM vs Out of My Head Blame it On You vs Lucky Roll with Me vs Tears Emotional vs I Got It ILY2 vs Femmebot White Roses vs Delicious Babygirl vs Unlock it Drugs vs Porsche Lipgloss vs Track 10 With ILY2 and Femmebot, there's a complete tie but I still like them both more than White Roses and Delicious. I prefer Delicious to White Roses only if the Tommy Cash verse was edited out. Lipgloss and Track 10 are both perfect so I'm not choosing.

eh I forgot my ADHD meds today so you're right

if anyone did, please send to me bc that's like 2013/2014 era SOPHIE which is iconic This is the A. G. Cook demo of Lipgloss and Cherry Pop with A. G. on vox. SOPHIE wasn't involved in the song but she liked the demo a lot. Mozart's Sister changed all of her social media to Cécile Believe so I guess that's her new alias now, which makes sense since she was credited as that at both the live show and on Ponyboy where she did vox

Also I think I put together some info about XCX3 that gives a little insight into the tracklist at one point but someone's already done this before me. In an interview early this year, the interviewer said something about "roughly 70% of the tracks mentioned partying or champagne". If it's "roughly" 70% then it can't be a ten track album. 8/11 is closer to 75% than 70%. 9/12 and 8/12 are 75% and 66.66666% respectively. But 9/13 is 69.2% which I would say is roughly 70%. And only four of the leaked tracks that were said to be intended for XCX3 didn't mention partying or champagne (Die 4, I Wanna Be With You, Can You Hear Me, and Queen Lizzy I think). So yeah I'm just gonna assume that there were 13 tracks at one point when XCX3 hadn't been scrapped. That's how I'm gonna format my "XCX3 Leaks Playlist" now before I burn it onto a CD I got u on Unlock It: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vdaGb1tGULKXuY8Un3VbOl8Qm2PhpuaQ/view?usp=sharing

1. Backseat: Not bad or anything but really disappointing given the fact that it's a Charli/Carly duet. 2. Out Of My Head: This is an ALMA feat. Charli XCX and Tove Lo or an ALMA and Tove Lo feat. Charli XCX song. Love it, but it doesn't fit on the mixtape bc Charli XCX feels like a feature on it. Also biased though bc I really got attached to ALMA's solo version that was played live before Tove and Charli jumped in. 3. Lucky: Lowkey amazing. Beautiful. Gorgeous. 4. Tears: It's cute but kinda forgettable. Same issue with Backseat, it's a duet between two icons that just falls short. 5. I Got It: NO. 6. Femmebot: One of the best tracks on the mixtape. You can really feel David Gamson on this one. Honestly each producer stands out on this one. Mykki's verse is great too. Somehow improves on an already perfect song. 7. Delicious: I cut out Tommy Cash's verse in the song and now I like it! Boom Clap sample caught me off guard and made me v happy. This was like if Blame It On You was 1000000x better. 8. Unlock It: I cut out Jay Park's verse in the song and now I LOVE it! It's super dreamy, VERY Life Sim with the whole trance-y dreamy minimalistic atmosphere. 9. Porsche: This is really good. Really really good. 10. Track 10/Blame It On Your Love: You can feel Lil Data and Stargate heavily in this one. Don't know how I feel about the IDL sample. One of the top 4 tracks on the album mixtape (with Femmebot, Lucky, and Unlock It minus Jay Park)

Okay this version's growing on me a lot. I'm glad Alma still gets the chorus. And Tove sounds great on it. And so does Charli wow this is great. Should be released as a single to radio and itunes and all

Here's the live Alma-only demo that SOPHIE played. A.G.'s production parts aren't on it either. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zH6hWBcy3bV6IqExtIQo9399WdjbJlHr/view?usp=sharing

wow that was beautiful did anyone record it? (i kinda prefer the live version with only alma that was played a while back though)
-
I love it a lot. Not just bc i relate to it on an emotional level as a trans woman, but I just really like that SOPHIE is putting herself at the forefront of her music. It separates her solo work from the work she produces for other artists, stylistically as well. Kinda reminds me of Perfume Genius or ANOHNI, but but with the signature SOPHIE production. Not every SOPHIE song is gonna be a banger, I still think that JLWNSG is the best SOPHIE track

someone told me that the LP is a mix of SOPHIE and Jersey Club music so I really don't believe anyone about anything anymore here's some SUPER official artwork definitely real:
