  1. This is a live rehearsal from like 2014 **2015. Endless summer tour, I just remembered.
  2. When will people on this site stop arguing over other's music taste like it's not a subjective thing... Brain dead rats. Fuck!
  3. Yosemite and Roses Bloom For You are songs which exist. There. Discussed.
  4. Yes but you have to shazam the sound of an American black bear to listen to it
  5. I'd probably just be really upfront and ask her about some unleaked titles. Back when a vast amount of tracks were still unleaked, I would often envison asking Lana about all the different songs she recorded and what each one sounded like(I don't even know any unleaked titles off the top of my head anymore lmao rip those days there's nothing left). Oh, and I'd definitely tell her how fucking genius her laptop demos are, naming tracks specifically (Bentley!!) since I feel like they're a really taboo topic no one wants to bring up with her for some reason. And of course, who is K?
  6. Coming from a user who spams the LFL thread with unrelated drivel. The topic isn't discussing Honeymoon, it's about why the album is so disliked within the community, completely appropriate as a topic on its own. I swear to God y'all
  7. Honeymoon came out sooner than it should have, I think this is partly the reason why it wasn't that well received by fans, it just wasn't the right time. Not only that but Lana herself could've used more time to work on the songs themselves (it must be noted that for the short time it was made in, it's an incredibly comprehensive record). It was also very tame, a regression from the dark and brooding nature of Ultraviolence, and Lana's first time departing from an image based era, all of this made it seem boring but none of the songs are _bad_ persè. In retrospect, I really do appreciate Honeymoon more than I did when it was released. The album is far more genuine and TRULY Lana Del Rey than LFL. In Short, LFL is like that party bitch we all know. On the surface she's great but over time you realize there's very little substance to her(Heroin is exempt from this analogy!), whereas Honeymoon is that bookish, quiet little girl you always see but never notice, yet when you actually spend time with her you see you underestimated her greatly.
  8. I've been obsessed with Heat by Paul Morrisey and Andy Warhol these past few weeks. I'm generally not a fan of their works from that period of time as I don't care for their shoddy camera work, the ad libbed dialogue and the resulting loosely strung, barely-there plots, yet none of this matters with Heat. On the contrary, I think the respective actors and actresses have such natural prowess in and of themselves that this laissez-faire approach to filming adds a sense of realism and a kind of humour you don't find in other films, underground or not, and makes up for any of the film's shortcomings. I mean, Sylvia Miles (my DP) is fucking bomb. Her vibrancy alone makes it empowering to watch her, same goes for Pat Ast. Love the aesthetic of the whole film, its nuances, everything. Basically you should watch it, the entire thing's on YouTube and there are so many quotable lines, I live.
  9. As a libertarian I strongly resonate with people's want to bear arms and to protect themselves but what's the point when this has become the result? There's no reason why a weapon of the caliber belonging to the perpetrator should be sold to anyone! 273rd shooting in America in 273 days. One shooting per day. It feels surreal to think about. Culture is incredibly responsible for this. America did not have this problem 50 years ago, or even 20 for that matter. Fix the culture or tighten gun control. Tell me which one is simpler?
