getting famous usually fucks up your “normal” life experiences so many artist usually feel sort of imprisoned in their celebrity lifestyles and they tend to sing about how it was before throughout their whole careers. This is kinda sad but I think she will sing about her early 20s as long as she makes songs

I’m genuinely curious about critics’ reaction to this album because we’ve obviously known many of these songs for years now so we won’t have that “wow” factor with its first listen. Also critics won’t know much about the background of these songs so they will look at it as fresh body of work, not some songs from 2014, 2017 and 2021 also I loved her latest post on Instagram, she described this album as “what I was like and what I’m like now” and this made me hopeful about her picking up songs for the tracklist not in a random but in a thoughtful way!
