The only thing I was excited about the Janet album was Charli doing a “persona” and having a specific visual idea for it. But overall I’m not into Janet’s music so I don’t even know what I’d expect from it. Though i trust AG’s creativity and intuition and if Janet’s one of his biggest idols - I want it! Her having some other idea for an album than doing futuristic cling-clang beats—although i love them to death—would be super exciting. But also with her explaining the album as “her most pop record” (I think she said something like that?) gives me war flashbacks to Sucker era and Charli constantly saying how it was the future of pop.

It gives a fresh touch to the song and is super relatable. I love it so much. It might be one of her cutest songs. also I reminder you the album was originally 10 tracks. Yesterday it was 11 tracks. Now it’s probably going for 14 tracks. I don’t think the click remake is going to replace anything.

Im very sceptic about Gaga this era (and I’ve been sceptic about her past 5 years) but free woman is a bop! There’s no growth in her sonically but it’s such a fun record, sounds like a 2010 hit but in a good way
