    Boring, like all videos that have come after Tropico. I literally could make a better video than this. What happened to the visionary that came up with the ideas for all the Born to Die videos?

     

    I agree, I really like the High By The Beach video though, because even though it was simple, it worked so well for the song. 

     

    So many people where asking for a short video without monologues etc..... hope you're happy. 

     

    Lust For Life is good too, just nothing much happens, but I do love the setting etc. 

     

    Shame because when this looks like expensive footage too, maybe not BTD expensive, but you can tell a problem is the fact that nothing really happens in the videos rather than budgeting being a problem.

     

    Bring back the BTD levels of story line and cinematography!

    I can understand why WM is the next single (its short for radio, pretty easy to listen to for gp etc), I just wish Summer Bummer had been released in the summer straight after the album was released. Its perfect and I feel like all the Summertime Sadness bitches (ie. basic bitches who where only here for the one song) would have been living for this song. It feels too late now to release it since we're going into Autumn. I want to say next summer but this album will be completely dead by then so....

    I'd like to see a music video for 13 Beaches, it could continue from where High By The Beach left off. It begins with the helicopter up in flames falling from the sky and landing in the sea in slow motion whilst the opening instrumental plays, and we watch it sink lower and lower into the depths of the sea. Then as the monlogue begins we could see Lana stepping out of her home wearing the same cute outfit and just walking along the beach looking all sad and confused.

     

    Then when the song officially starts she could be sat on this tiny little island all by herself on a small, secluded, hidden little beach with a beautiful jungle behind her. And she's underneath a palm tree eating cherries and sipping red wine in a dress made entirely out of daisies. Very exotic looking. Lana pls make this happen!

     

    Love this idea! Where is the little intro from? It fits Lana so well, but its from a movie or something isn't it? It would be great if there was a longer version of that monologue for the movie or if Lana decided to speak instead and extend it.

    and yes i will defend her, because I am a fan, and sometimes it feels like i might be the only own. half the people here shit on here all the fucking time.

    there are artists that have been singing the same fucking set set list since the 90s/early 2000s.

     

    I completely understand what you're saying with this, Zayn suffers with Anxiety and as a result hardly ever performs live and has never gone on tour.

     

    Just remember though it's not like Lana just goes on tour for her fans, its part of her job (she doesn't have to tour obviously) and she probably earns a lot of money from doing so, therefore its not so bad that fans have certain expectations from her set, especially when you compare her set to other pop stars who are currently touring at the moment. I'm not saying that some people are being a bit unjustified with their opinions of her and her touring, but some people have genuine concerns when it comes to how short the setlist is etc and are not attacking her.

     

    Tbh as well she seems to really enjoy performing on tour these days too.

    Idk if this has been asked before but maybe Lana puts some of the footage of the WM video on the background while she performs it live?

     

    She has a video behind her with a white car, a bit like a pick up truck. I really don't know my cars very well so I could be completely wrong but I'm pretty sure its not a white mustang. It could be from the video, it seems very Lana aesthetic and fits the song quite well. Maybe that will just be the video, a white car travelling through the countryside for 2 and half minutes  :oop2:

    She actually did songs from every album tonight though so there's that and she only did 4 songs from BTD if you don't count Paradise as part of BTD. 

     

    I feel like VG and BTD are the only songs needed from that album. 

     

    I also feel like this tour she is doing is like a bridge between the last one and the one she has just announced and she is just doing the old set-list and what ever she has managed to rehearse in time for the shows. She sang Change properly tonight and it was a moment!

     

    Hopefully when she starts the proper world tour the set list will be revamped.

     

    Her staging could be better imo tbh, like it was good with the screens but their was nothing on the stage really. When she did the Paradise tour she has those massive statues and palm trees and it just looked a whole lot better. Only other thing I'd say is after seeing her tonight i'd say her shows suit smaller venues a whole lot more.
