I took it as a metaphor for her depression and stability. "Said he'd come back every May" which could be a hard time for her (perhaps mothers day? who knows. also could simply be a reference to may jailer and whoever was Ray) and "just to help me if i paint my banisters blue" which could mean if her stability (banisters) fails her and her depression (blue) over comes her again, remember that line in Never To Heaven where she mentioned "like sometimes i'm afraid my sadness is too big, and that one day you might have to help me handle it" idk it could be literal but i think it's very metaphorical too

Hmm…. What did he say on the livestream though? It sounded like he said she wanted to put out her next album first? Or she’s going to release a new record or something. It kind of skipped when he said that. Whatever it was…. I think he was meaning they’ve got some stuff in the works but i don’t think it’s 100% confirmed that he’s working on this album. Since they are working together on something, whatever that might be, couldn’t he just be supporting her upcoming project with a post about it? Does it confirm anything other than they’re working together on SOMETHING, whatever that is? I’m more convinced that it’ll be the next album after BB since she seems so strongly that the album is finished and he also said they haven’t finished anything yet

I miss the pale moonlight days tbh.... like i'm over the candle in the wind Lana sing me a sexy song about being in your red dress and your clown makeup and dropping it like its hot in the pale moonlight again ugh idk, i just went back and listened to Paradise again and tbh... at the time i hated it compared to BTD but now to me it's so brilliantly written and the instrumentals just choke me when i hear them and notice the little things like in American and Cola and Body Electric, ugh. How is this woman human and living in our time? Idk I just need BB to have something really interesting and new and weird and genius again like things from the earlier albums is all. Don't @/ me trying to say "oh don't complain you just told us we shouldn't complain" and i'm not complaining i just want this album to be a return to form where we get absolutely brilliantly written songs again. i like some of the newer stuff but not nearly as much as i do paradise or uv or hm.... like fuck, yall, we really are in the same world as lana del fucking rey and she's really, really becoming an iconic masterpiece of our generation.... i just hope BB is written well that's all i ask... like Body Electric's lyrics, i need that level
