y'all we could actually possibly maybe (not) be getting another album in like 2 months holy fucking SHIT i wonder if the album cover will be from an already done photoshoot.

cocc wasn't rushed at all though, she had all the time in the world to finish it. she said it was done back in november and she was waiting for the record pressing companies to open, so that's why it was delayed into March. since it was delayed for so long, there wasn't anything stopping her from working on demos, i think jack's post right after the album dropped, he said something about how "i think these were the best versions" so there's definitely different versions of each song and if there was a better version of any of the tracks, she could've easily swapped it with a different one. i think she's moving onto the next album because she had planned for cocc to be out in september and she was planning for RCS for this summer

I'm really hoping the next Weeknd album is not mainstream and I hope Lana goes the same route. I don't think Chemtrails is mainstream, but it's definitely more.... idk how to say it. I guess it's more contemporary and easy to listen to compared to everything else. I want this album to be so fuckin different it's hard to listen to for some people or hard to appreciate or something. Idk, just go out in left field somewhere out there where cocc and nfr don't live. give us something in the veins of venice bitch or flipside or brooklyn baby or the greatest

it's weird that she dropped a date without the album cover or tracklist, i think that's what feeds the disbelief for me about the album, she just kind of randomly put it out there. hopefully if it gets delayed it's not for long but i'm also thinking if she has another album sitting on the shelf ready for relief you'd think she probably submitted it with cocc so the vinyls can be pressed before the company shuts down again for whatever reason y'know what i mean? especially with so many different variants cocc had this!! i've been wondering this entire time!!!

maybe it's meant to be a second part to chemtrails or at least it'll make sense why they're separate when we hear it but it would be a good project to listen to together? i'm hoping it's very much the opposite from chemtrails just for that reason. like for me chemtrails picked up where NFR left off it feels like and hopefully this'll feel totally different

I still can't believe she already has another album. Absolutely no COCC tour just straight up moving on. I love her hahaha i mean honestly it makes sense that she can't tour cocc right now with covid so she's working on more music. That's what she should do it she wants to vent and get her feelings out through music. honestly it would be cool if this turned into a trilogy of albums this year. COCC, RCS, and a third album we don't know about yet
